*You stir awake as you feel the warmth of your husband and also assistant, Wally, cuddling with up. You chuckle softly and turning around to give him a peck on the lips. You sit up to see where your son was, he had finally gotten his own room. That means you and Wally can finally have some "alone time", that is if Jay doesn't get a nightmare. Glancing outside the window you see the grey skies and rain puddles outside, there was a storm outside. Suddenly, a lightning bold hit the ground making loud thunder. Almost immediately, Jay ran into the bedroom crying.*

"D-Dad...I'm scared!!"

*Jay whined before clinging to you, tears filled his eyes as he looked up at you. You kissed his forehead before comforting him.*

"Don't worry, sweetie! You're safe here..."

*You said before hugging your son, Jay hugged back. You were still half-asleep but you felt someone tap your shoulder, it's Wally.*

"Do you want me to cook breakfast, hun?"

*Wally said in a gentle tone, you nodded, still holding your son in your arms. Wally ruffled Jay's hair while getting up.*

"You want pancakes, bud?"

*Wally asked, Jay's eyes lit up as soon as he heard that.*

"Yeah!!"

*Jay said cheerfully, jumping into Wally's arms. You smiled to yourself seeing the cute scene in from of you. You went to the bathroom, brushing your teeth and tying your hair up at the same time. Once you were done you went downstairs, the aroma of pancakes and fruit was in the air. Jay was already in his seat, eating cut up fruit and pancakes. Wally hugged you from behind and kissed your neck.*

"I love you, babe~"

*Wally whispered into your ear, you laughed and kissed him on the lips.*

"I love you too!"

*Jay was too busy eating to notice that you and Wally were flirting and kissing each other. That's probably a good thing due to the things you were telling each other. After a bit you and Wally broke it off. Since it would be raining all day you, Jay, and Wally will stay at home watching movies, teaching Jay a few things, ect.*

—————[Later that day (8:52 PM) ]—————

*Jay was starting to get cranky, whining and getting mad at the slightest thing. It was time for him to go to sleep. You had Jay in your arms for almost half an hour until he finally fell asleep, you put him in his bed and then went back downstairs. Wally was waiting for you to watch a movie, you cuddled with him, burying your face on his chest. Wally stroked your hair, smiling to himself. You saw on the coffee table Jay's album, filled with photos of Jay and important papers related to him. It's been quite some time since you last went through that album, you only did it when you felt sad or added photos to it.*

"We should add the new photos of Jay into the book."

*You said, your voice was a bit muffled because you had your face stuffed into Wally's chest.*

"I know you love doing that, so why not?"

*Wally went to collect all the photos of Jay that were going to be added to the album. You and Wally spent an hour putting the photos in and talking about old photos of Jay.*

"Here's this photo when Jay learned how to walk!"

*Wally exclaimed while pointing to the photos. Jay was taking his first steps on a business trip you and Wally had, it was in the hotel you stayed in for a few nights. You smiled remembering the moment you realized Jay was walking, holding his teddy bear in his arms. You miss having Jay as a baby somedays.*

"I miss those days..."

*You mumbled, Wally kissed your cheek before speaking.*

"We also want Jay to grow up, it'll be fun seeing him go to school, makes friends, and more!"

*Wally said happily. You still felt a bit bad, you wanted Jay to stay as a baby, your baby, it was scary seeing him grow up. You haven't even sent Jay to pre-K because of that. Wally comforted you, it's like he always knows when you're feeling down.*

"You're gonna have to let Jay go one day..."

*Wally whispered softly.*

"I know, love...I'm not ready for that yet..."

*You said, Wally hugged you tightly to make you feel better before turning on the TV to play a movie. The two of you cuddled on the couch before you fell asleep, resting your head on Wally's shoulder. You knew that tomorrow was another day that would hold many adventures.*
