*Great. Just great. When everything seemed to be on the up and up, suddenly you got worse, way worse! So did Jay who was alone in his room. You started to get chills and a fever while Jay got nauseous again. Wally tried his best to help out, but dealing with two very sick people was very hard.*

—————[Morning]—————

"Dada, dada!!"

*Jay tugged the Wally's sleeve while he was making breakfast, it was 8:26 AM. Wally made a soft hum for Jay to continue.*

"I threw up again."

"What?!—"

*Wally nearly dropped the spoon he was cooking with, he quickly turned off the stove and followed Jay to clean up the mess. Sure, it was messy but parental love can do stuff to people. As soon as Wally was going to continue cooking he heard you call him from upstairs. In a few seconds, he was there.*

"Yes, love?"

*Wally asked in the most polite way possible, he hasn't slept much and is likely going to get a bit cranky later on.*

"I need some painkillers, I have a bad headache right now..."

*You managed to mumbled while hiding in the covers, light made your headache worse. Wally went to the bathroom that was in the master bedroom and searched the medicine cabinet, thankfully, the bottle was there.*

"Here you go!"

*Wally handed you the bottle with a gentle smile on his face, it reminded you of back when the two of you weren't marred, not even dating! Just employee and employer, nothing else...Oh how things have changed, didn't they?*

"Thank you..."

*You said, opening the bottle and taking two pills with water. Wally kissed you're cheek and went back with Jay, he was just watching his IPad. He has to call the daycare and tell them that Jay won't be attending this time, there was still so much to do...All alone.*

"C'mon, Jay! Lets go eat breakfast, then you can stay in bed to recover."

*Jay looked up at his father and clung to him like a koala.*

"Yay! Breakfast!"

*He cheered, a cute smile formed on his face, revealing his dimples.*

*You and Jay stayed in rooms to avoid getting anyone else sick, your schedule was freed up by Wally, who had to call Barnaby and others to inform them of the current situation. He was also calling the daycare.*

"Y-Yes, I know but Jay won't be able to join today, he's throwing up and has a fever—"

*The person on the phone interrupted Wally, again. It was irritating how this one person kept rambling on and on, saying that Jay needed to be there for a test. Wally was loosing his cool, the two hours of sleep did nothing to help him.*

"Please just inform the teacher he won't be there, as simple as that."

*Wally hung up before the person could say another word, he sighed and leaned back on the rocking chair he was on. All morning, you and Jay were asking for him to do tasks, he was pretty much exhausted by the time he had a break. Wally started to drift off to a peaceful nap, definitely deserved.*
