Your POV (first person)
I was hanging out with the usual people: Teresa, Chuck, Newt, Thomas, Minho, etc. Mainly all the gladers. Teresa wanted to play a game.
"Alright, let's play a game. Everyone text me who you like and we can all guess." Teresa said with excitement.
I wasn't looking forward to this, but it seemed as if everyone agreed. All of them started taking out their phones, one by one. I was the last glader to take out my phone.
I clicked on Messages and started to text Teresa who I like...
Newt.
Teresa smiled, she had already knew who I had liked, but she just kept smiling. I wonder what it's about.
"Okay, I think I have everyones'." Teresa said. "Let's get started. Who wants to guess?"
"Newt likes Y/N."
I turned my head and realized Minho had said it. I gave him a glare.
"Hey it's true." Explained Minho. "He stares at you, flirts with you when he gets a chance, come on. We all know it. Well, maybe not you, but whatever. He likes you."
Newt got up and walked out the door.
Everyone was looking at me. I looked at Teresa, questioning if it were true.
She nodded. "Yeah, he does."
I walked out the door and followed Newt. He was sitting down on the grass. I walked up to him and sat down. I didn't say anything. He didn't say anything either.
I liked the silence we had. I didn't feel awkward. We both looked up at the sky. It was nighttime. The stars we shining. It was breath taking.
I grabbed Newt's hand and put it into mine, "I like you too." I put my head onto his shoulder, he didn't say anything.
After a few moments of silence, he took a deep breath, "I should've told you sooner, Love. Just didn't know how."
"It's fine, Newt." You whispered softly.
Newt gave you a kiss on your forehead and then you two both looked up at the stars. Enjoying your time together, enjoying the view, and realizing that you both liked each other all along.
