Riya was lost in her thoughts when she was brought back to reality by a maid who was telling her that everyone was waiting for her downstairs for dinner.

She nodded to the maid and freshened up before putting on a smile as she went down to join her family for dinner.

Riya went downstairs with excitement and anticipation of tasting the delicious food she had missed for 3 years.

She could already smell the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen and her mouth was watering.

She was eager to savor each and every bite.

As she sat she spoke "Oh my god, I'm so hungry! I can't wait to eat all this delicious food. I feel like I'm starving, I can't wait to dig into this tasty meal."

The elders smiled at her antics.

As Riya devoured her meal, Kabir couldn't help but smile at her lighthearted and playful antics.

Everyone had their dinner with laughter and delightful conversations, enjoying each other's company and the delicious food on the table.

After they finished their dinner, Chachu spoke up, "Everyone is here except my useless son, where is he?".

His wife, Chachi, turned to Kabir and asked him, "Beta, do you know where Karan is?"

As Chachi was making her comment about their "useless son", Karan walked in holding a bag full of ice creams.

Karan's eyes caught sight of Riya when he walked into the room.

He gave a teasing look to his brother as it appeared that he had made him do the task of bringing the ice creams, and was confused at first as he knew that his brother wasn't fond of anything sweet.

However, when he saw Riya, he realized why his brother had asked him to get the ice creams, as he knew that it was her favorite treat.

Everyone was excited to see him and he promptly went around and started handing out the ice creams to everyone.

As Karan went around and handed out ice creams to everyone, he then dropped down on his knees, pretending to do his laces whilst he took blessings for Riya, his bhabhi, under the pretext of doing his shoelaces.

Everyone was too caught up in their conversations and activities to notice the little interaction between Karan and Riya.

Karan slowly raised himself up after he finished taking blessings from his Bhabhi and their little interaction went unnoticed by everyone else.

He then turned to Riya and slowly whispered in her ear "Welcome back, Bhabhi."

Riya's face brightened up as she heard his words and she couldn't help but smile.

Karan handed Riya an ice cream and said, "This is for you."

She smiled brightly as she looked at the ice cream and thanked him

She smiled brightly as she looked at the ice cream and thanked him.

She could already tell that this had been done by her husband and she was grateful for his thoughtfulness.

When she looked at him, she noticed that he was staring at her, admiring her smile.

She seemed like she was trying to say thank you, without words.

He returned her glance and he blinked his eyes in acceptance, as if he could read her mind.

The gathering of people moved towards the living area and sat down to partake in desserts while discussing the numerous wedding celebrations of Ashi.

Alka, who was nearby, spoke up, saying, "Beta, kal aap shopping par jaoge (tomorrow you'll go shopping)."

Riya replied with a sigh, saying, "Par, maa sa, mere paas kaafi kapda hai, zarurat kya hai aur lene ki (but I have enough clothes already, what's the need to buy more)."

Alka cut her off, saying jokingly, "Nahi sunungi, tomorrow you're going shopping, what if you meet your dream man at the wedding?"

A slight flush of crimson flushed Riya's cheeks as she heard her mother's words.

She slowly turned to look at Kabir, who had amusement in his eyes.

The two shared a moment, both knowing the truth behind Alka's words.

Riya nodded to her mother as everyone said their goodnights and headed to their beds.
