When the two were done they decided to just relax on the bed for a little. "So, what did you think? Wanna do this again sometime?" Xavier asked, glancing over at Lizzie. "Oh, hell yeah, that was great," Lizzie said and shifted positions. For a moment, there was silence. "Um, should we get back to planning the heist?" Xavier asked finally. "Yeah, we probably should," Lizzie agreed. Neither of them moved an inch. Though they didn't want to, they eventually did get up and started brainstorming again. After another hour and a half, the solution was found and the plan was finally ready.

The heist went smoothly. As did the rest of the heists and magic shows the duo planned. The police weren't after them and they were gaining popularity as magicians in all of Lecril and even Xeswad. Life was nice and pretty ordinary for the next couple of years, until one day.

"How do I look?" Lizzie twirled in her fancy dress, showing it off. "You look gorgeous, love." Xavier, wearing a tuxedo, admired her and smiled sweetly. "Thanks." Her lips curved into a wide smile as she turned toward him. "You too look very handsome, love," she added as she stepped closer to him and gave him a quick peck on the lips. He thanked her for the compliment and looked at the time. "I think we should get going. Don't want to miss the reservation, now do we?" "Most certainly not." They both grabbed their jackets, headed out and started walking toward the restaurant in which they had made a dinner reservation.

The restaurant was fancy and the food was good. The evening was spent enjoying the delicacies and listening to an amazing live band. After they'd eaten their fill and the bills were paid they went for a walk in one of the smaller and quieter parks, which at that hour was empty aside from a few late-night walkers. The couple came to a halt near a tiny bond to admire the fountain in the middle.

"Do you remember the day when we first met?" Xavier asked, reaching for his coat pockets. "Of course I do, why?" Lizzie replied, still admiring the fountain. "Do you remember what you told me? That I should take you out for dinner before proposing to you?" This got a laugh out of Lizzie. "I do remember saying that, great line." "Was this dinner sufficient?" "Wha-" Lizzie finally turned her gaze away from the mesmerizing fountain and toward Xavier, who by now had gotten down on one knee and was holding a box containing a ring. "Elisabeth Landon, would you marry me?" For a moment there was silence before she burst out laughing. What a way to make an opening. "The dinner was more than sufficient and yes, I'd gladly marry you, Xavier Blanchet." He beamed and put the ring on her. She smiled widely and once he was back on his feet, wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a big smooch. He pulled her closer and the two ended up making out by the fountain for quite some time.

For the next several months besides planning magic shows and heists, they also had a wedding to plan. They decided on a rather small wedding with just a few close friends as guests. Though small and humble, the wedding day was wonderful and they wouldn't have had it any other way.

Quite a few happy years went by. The couple was still performing and was gaining more adoration from the fans with each performance. In the shadows, however, they still occasionally organised a heist or two, though they didn't really need to do this anymore like they did before. The magic shows paid well and Lizzie had managed to finally pay off every last cent of her debt, so more money for their own use. Everything was calm and nice. Until Xavier got a call from a person he hadn't heard from in years.

It was an ordinary noon. Lizzie, being the first one awake, took care of breakfast. Once she was done with the waffles and had neatly placed everything on a tray, she went back to the bedroom where Xavier was still sleeping the day away. She carefully placed the tray on the nightstand on his side, leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. "Morning, sweetheart," she said gently, trying her best not to say good noon instead.
