Charlotte
"And cut!" Brooke yells, the main lights in the studio go back on and it seemed as if everyone in the room had let out a sigh of relief. "That's the last scene for today so everyone may be released and go home for the night. Next week on Tuesday the call time is sixty thirty, in the morning, not in the evening, and I expect everyone to be on time! You are all dismissed." She says through her megaphone.
I to myself at the thought of her using that thing. She acts as if we can't already hear her. I want to tell her, I promise we'll be fine and we can hear you just fine, even without the damn thing.
"Okay well that means it's finally time to go home!" I turn and tell Mateo who is standing next to me. "Thank god. I swear Charlotte I'm getting several migraines a day because of her, then she adds that damn megaphone on top of it all. It's actually hell." Mateo adds. We both laughed and we continued to make small talk for a few minutes before I remembered Lena was with me. I then gave Mateo a quick hug and 'bye' before running off to Lena who was waiting for me behind the scenes.
"Sorry, I left you alone, I got caught up in a conversation." I then linked arms with her as we started walking to my RV so I could get changed out of these damn clothes. "Oh don't worry, I was busy texting someone." Lena says. "Who was it?" I ask suspiciously. "The guy I ran off with the other night." Lena says with a proud smirk on her face. "Wait, is this serious?" I am intrigued by this new Lena—she always avoids commitment, afraid that letting people in means that they can leave her easier. That's why she's never really dated, just going around experimenting I guess you could call it. "No, we're just talking some more. He's weird so it's fun to tease him and stuff." Lena tries to brush off. "And stuff." I say mimicking Lena.
She pinches me on my arm and I wince at the pain. "Ow!"I say in response. "Well, I could say just 'stuff' happened between you and Brooke at that snack table." Lena teased back. "It was nothing. She's so intimidating but luckily I was able to push through it." I say. "But besides that I haven't noticed the effects of this whole 'BW' mission." I say. "Well I was watching and she was definitely looking at you. I told you this was a good idea!" Lena teases, hitting my arm playfully.
"She really was?" I question her. "Don't tease me like that Lena." I warned her.
I had an immense amount of doubt that this plan wouldn't work after my conversation with Brooke at the snack table. She seemed too easy, like maybe she was playing a trick on me—because Brooke was actually semi-nice to a human being for once. It scared me to be completely honest."Come on Charlotte, who wouldn't look at you? Your fucking beautiful! Now let's get you changed so you and I can head to the bar, get some drinks and continue mission BW." She says as we arrive in front of my RV. God how I hated calling this a mission.
"Ok come in though so it looks like I'm inviting you in, because what if we see her there and she gets suspicious of us?"I say. "You're right, good thinking." Lena agreed. "Oh, and I also wanna show you a tour of it. I think I decorated it really cute!" I say now grabbing Lena's hand as I open the door to the RV. I look behind me scheming the entirety of the place, not a single body in sight. It seems that most people rushed out of here and went straight home. As I keep glancing around I then see Brooke not standing too far away in a conversation glancing at me. We make quick eye contact before she quickly looks away from me and continues to entertain the conversation she's in.
Although I had my doubts about this little 'mission' working, something deep down inside of me told me that maybe Lena was right. Maybe I did have some kind of grasp on Brooke. Then again, there was that feeling of doubt. I felt or possibly even knew that deep down that she may figure us out one day and it could turn out to be messy.
Only if we weren't careful of course.

After I got dressed and bid my goodbyes to everyone on set I hopped into Lena's car so we could go to the bar tonight. Even though we both knew she would be there, we also both needed a drink after today. Brooke had held us back for so long I'm pretty sure Lena was starting to fall asleep, and she didn't even do anything.
