Chapter 17

The second trial was today. I was sitting with Draco, Pansy, and Blaise (who suddenly started hanging out with us after the Yule Ball).
We arrived at the tower like things, and went to the top.
I saw Harry with the other champions, but Ron and Hermione were no where to be found.
"Are you excited?" Pansy asked.
"Of course! I can't wait to see what the trial is!" I said, holding the railing.
Blaise kissed Pansy on the cheek.
I raised my eyebrows. "I thought you said you weren't dating,"
Pansy blushed, "we aren't!"
Draco scoffed, "I'm sure you aren't."
I laughed, and put my head on his shoulder.
"You guys are dating now right?" Blaise asked.
I glanced at Draco.
"Yes we are Blaise," he said nodding his head.
Pansy squealed, "you guys are so cute!!"
I smiled, "you're not off the hook yet,"
Pansy groaned, and was about to say something, but was interrupted by Dumbledore.
"The champions have all lost something of importance, and must retrieve it from the bottom of the black lake! The champions will dive in when the cannon-"
Filch fired the cannon, and the champions dived in. Everyone cheered, and then a sudden quiet blanketed the towers.
I didn't know what to say, the tense silence as we waited for the champions was awkward.
Half an hour passed, we talked a little, and then Flur came up with nothing.
I gasped, "do you think she's okay?"
Draco nodded, "she's okay, don't worry love."
I blushed, no matter what, Draco always found a why to make me blush.
A few minutes later Cedric came up with Cho Chang.
We cheered, and then Viktor Krum came up with Hermione. I ran down, and hugged her. She was already in a towel, but I took off my coat and wrapped her in it.
"Are you okay?!" I said frantically.
Hermione smiled, "I'm fine, just a little cold."
I hugged her again, "I didn't even know you were under the water!"
Hermione laughed, "it feels like I was just in professor McGonagall's office,"
"I'm glad you're okay," I said pulling away. Hermione and I were just about to stand up when Ron and a little blonde girl emerged from the water, but no sign of Harry.
Hermione squeezed my hand.
A few seconds later Harry flew out of the lake, and was immediately crowded around by teachers and students. Hermione gave me my coat back, and wrapped her giant towel around Harry. I smiled, and walked back to Draco Pansy and Blaise.
"I didn't realize that there were people under water!" Pansy said. I was shivering a little now because my coat was wet.
"Her darling, wear mine," Draco said, taking off his coat and putting it on me.
"Thank you Draco." I said, smiling.
Dumbledore spoke, "in first place we have Cedric Diggory, for his incredible use of the bubble charm, and saving Miss Chang first!" Cheers erupted from the stands, "in second place, after a lot of consideration, is Harry Potter for saving both Mr. Weasley and Miss Delacour!" Less cheers, and a lot of groans came from everyone one. "And in third place is Viktor Krum, and I'm fourth is Flur Delacour!"
More cheers.
Draco scoffed, "of course Potter had to save two people. Always looking for attention."
Pansy and Blaise nodded in agreement.
I just stood there, staring at Moody. Something about him seemed off. His tongue kept poking out like a snakes, and he looked like he was trembling. He pulled out his flask and took a swig, and he was back to normal. I frowned.
"What's wrong darling?" Draco asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"It's probably nothing," I said, turning to him.
"Probably?" He asked as we began to walk back to the boats.
"Well, professor Moody looked like he was acting a little weird, but I'm sure it's nothing." I said.
"I've noticed him act a little weird too!" Pansy said.
Draco nodded, "professor Snape came and asked all of us if we had stolen anything from his potions cabinet,"
I frowned, "why would he ask you guys?"
Draco smirked, "you'll never know,"

We got back to the castle, and just hung around the in courtyard. Pansy and Blaise left to do who knows what, and I was left with my boyfriend.
"They are definitely dating," I said, shaking my head.
"Oh yeah." Draco said laughing.
"Oh by the way, here's your jacket back," I handed him his jacket.
Draco shook his head, "keep it darling,"
"Draco, I can't keep taking your clothes!"
He scooted closer to me, and leaned over me, our noses almost touching, "yes you can darling."
He kissed me, but this wasn't like one of our soft kisses. His tongue got past my lips, and I gasped a little. I could feel him smirk slightly against my lips. My stomach was full of butterflies, and his lips were soft. My hands wrapped around his neck, and his hand went to my cheek.
(A/n sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to apologize for that. I don't know how to write a kissing scene.)
When he finally pulled away, my cheeks were hot.
He smirked, "you're a great kisser,"
"Thanks." I said, not looking at him, "same to you,"
"I know," he said, pulling me in for another kiss. This one softer, but still as emotional.
I didn't know what to do. I felt like I had melted, and I was now just a pile of mushy feelings that I couldn't wrap my head around.
"Do I make you melt?" Draco asked, still smirking.
I blushed even more, and looked away. How did he know what I was feeling?! Was he reading my mind?!
"Before you ask, no I'm not reading your mind." He said.
I looked at him confused, I still didn't know what to say.
"The reason I asked, was because you make me melt." He said, getting close again.
My eyes widened, I didn't know what to do.
Before Draco could do anything, Pansy and Blaise reappeared.
Draco pulled away, and my butterflies started to calm down.
"Are you guys excited for the next trial?" Pansy asked, sitting next to me.
Draco and Blaise cheered, but I couldn't shake this feeling that everything was going to go horribly wrong.

A/n
Mwahahaha! I guess that's not really a cliffhanger because we all know where this is going 😢.
Sorry again for that kissing scene, I will try to to better.
