[Disclaimer: Strong language. That is all.]

A couple days have since passed, and it's now a cloudy Friday morning at Maria high in Forks, Washington.

(Y/n) and Eren hop off their buses, join with Mikasa and Armin, enter the building together, and stop by Eren's locker.

"So, liking the weather so far?" Armin asks (Y/n), leaning on the locker to the left of Eren's.

"Well...nothing's really changed." She says, unsure how to answer Armin's question.

"Exactly." He adds, impishly.

(Y/n) rolls her eyes as a slow smile takes over her lips.

"Honestly though...it'll be weeks before we actually get a sunny day. What makes us envy you, Ms. Arizona Woman." Eren teases, rummaging through his backpack and blatantly, disastrously, throwing random work sheets into the small rectangular space.

"Dude...don't you have to turn those in at some point?" Mikasa asks, glowering at him for his carelessness.

"Yeah...? It's done. When I gotta turn it in, I'll look through it." Eren explains, pointing to the pile forming at the bottom of the locker.

"I swear, you're genuinely stupid." Mikasa insults, though Eren never takes them to heart. He only rolls his eyes.

"I'm not! I'm just an organized mess." He defends.

(Y/n) let's them bicker as she unconsciously looks around. From the looks of it, it'd seem as though she was people watching. But, a part of her was truly hoping to see him.

Flash!

(Y/n) winces from a striking flash of white. The sound of a camera click was heard just as the light struck her.
'Did my picture just get taken?'

"Isle! What the fuck, dude?" Eren swore at the photographer.

A freckled girl, with short black hair shaped around her head, and light brown eyes, frowned at the brunette. "I just need a picture for the year book's 'Newcomer's' page. So cool it with the hostility, would 'ya?" She countered. She turned her attention to (Y/n). "Sorry 'bout that. Photogs gotta get what they can. You'll see me around the campus a lot this year. If you have any questions, let me know. Later!" She quickly dashed down the hall and out of sight from the four.

"Man, that crap gets old after two years..." Eren complains.

Armin chuckles. "You say that, but it'd be nice to look back at those photos years later." He mentions.
(Y/n) considered that. She wished she'd had gotten a few of her year books from her old schools. What would she have to look back on now? Oh well.
As Eren finishes up with putting- no, shoving things into his locker, a familiar boy approaches him.
It's the kid from the back of (Y/n)'s buss that sported a buzz cut. "Oh, hey, Connie. What's up man?" Eren greets him, as the boy approaches him with hands in his jean pockets.
"Nothing much. The day just began. But, hear me out on this..." The Connie kid beckons Eren closer so they can discuss matters meant to be secret to some degree.
Once Connie finishes talking to Eren, he motions his head over to Mikasa, Armin, and (Y/n) and the three hear him say to let them in on it.
"Hell yeah! I'm game! You'll see us there. Also, why are you acting all cool~? Trying to show off for the new girl?" Eren teased.

But, it struck a nerve for the shaven-headed boy, seeing as his face instantly burned red. "Sh-Shut up, man! I don't know what the hell you're even talking about! See you later!" Connie exclaims, walking off in a brisk manner towards the stairs for the 12th grade floor.
"What a weird dude..." Eren mutters.
"Uh, hello? Are you going to let us in on what you two talked about, or what?" Mikasa goaded. "Oh, yeah! You guys, this is great..." Eren pulls them each closer, as to keep this news under wraps. "Historia Reiss is going to be throwing a huge 'Beginning of the End' party at her house tonight!" He exclaims quietly.
'Tonight!? That's so sudden! What kind of planning is that?' (Y/n) thought in astonishment.
"Really? I haven't been to her house in ages. I'm definitely going." Mikasa accepts.
"Same here. Would be nice to go to one more party before the year ends." Armin chimes in. "What about you?" Mikasa asks (Y/n), tapping her gently with her elbow.
"U-Uh, no. There's no way I could." (Y/n) tells them, shaking her head.
