Allah calls Himself Ar-Rahmaan— The Most Gracious, the intensely Merciful— is the One whose intense and perfect Mercy embraces the whole creation.

Rahmaan exhibits intensity linguistically, which is why the ending is -aan. Ar-Rahmaan highlights the magnitude, multiplicity, and extent of Allah ﷻ's mercy (rahmah), and the attribute of grace is inseparable from the All-Powerful.
