FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AWHILE, kaori was alone in her and lamelo big house that sat in Alanta, Georgia. Usually if Melo wasn't at the house then her siblings would be there or tesehki Vera and sky
Except Melo was in jail, her siblings were at mom's house in Compton
They pets were still there tho, all of them. She was in the kitchen, she was sitting on one of the kitchen island stools, waiting patiently for her phone to ring.
Melo is supposed to call her in a minute, to let her know everything, she still didn't even know why he was in jail.
All she knew was what happened, tes basically told her that they got stopped by the police and right when they came to the door they told melo to get out, and close the door behind. Then told him his rights as they patted him down, then arrested him, tes thinks that they told her why just she didn't hear them since another cop was keeping him in the car.
Polo was also with them and said that Melo did have a gun on him, but that could most likely go away after court but the cops didn't know that until they patted him down, so it had to be a different crime.
The phone rang, bringing kaori right out of her thoughts. Maralyn was quick to grab her phone, and answer it immediately not even reading the name. "Hello?" Kao said as soon as she answered it.
"This is.." The robot voice went through the phone, saying what it always says when you answer a jail call, it took money from Kai's account as she pressed a number to accept the call.
"Wassup lil folks," Melo says quietly, holding the jail phone to his ear, smiling a little, Marz was gonna smile but remembering where Melo was at, killed it.
"Melo," kao said, sighing before continuing to speak then pulling the phone back to her ear, she put it down after sighing,
"W-What did you doooooo?" Kao asks. "Mama, it was some shit that was old," melo started speaking immediately after hearing kao questioned, he spoke softly but fast

After talking a little while longer the two said their goodbyes then hung up
