(I'll be using Lena as the final faceclaims)
𝐊𝐚𝐨𝐫𝐢...continued.
We all walked into the restaurant and waited to be seated at a large table.
"Jaylyn these are some of our friends. This is Eli, Quan, O, and Don. Guys this is Jaylyn our starting freshie this year." They all nodded and said hello.
We ordered our food and drinks and it was a pretty chill time.
"Yall ready for speed training today?" Quan brought up the topic once again.
"Hell no. Who leads today?" I looked up from my phone.
"I do." They all groaned while I giggled.
They hate when I lead because I focus on cardio whereas everyone else focuses on weight/endurance training. If it wasnt for me these boys would never be able to run a single lap around the track.
"How do they even pick the leaders?" We all put our attention on Jaylyn.
"So all of the varsity captains of every sport take turns leading.
We get to choose our focus and plan what we're gonna do.
Today is my day and I like to focus on cardio. Thats why their being so dramatic right now." I explained.
"Oh I like cardio days. Theyre the easiest." I nodded in agreement with her.
"Hey whats everyone doin after school?" We all jus looked at Melo.
"Yall wanna come over and chill?" Melo looked at the boys.
I turned and whispered to Jaylyn. "That includes you too girl." She smiled at me.
Everyone agreed and unfortunately we had to go back for class. We paid and everyone split up.
"Hey we gotta stop and pick up forr for Martell and Rilyin." I nodded as we got in the
car."Okay thats fine... Ugh my knees hurting." I tried to stretch my leg out a bit.
Melo held his hand on my thigh. I think its a kind of comfort thing cuz he always has to be touching me in some way.*skip*
We got back to the school and said by to Jaylyn for now. We headed back to the gym.
Since Melo and I have study block for 3rd, we usually just sit in the gym or walk around.
We got to Coaches desk and pulled up a couple chairs."So what am supposed to say for this speech thing?" I looked at both of them.
"We just want you to talk about your experiences on the Volleyball and Track team and then talk about how much you love the school and stuff like that." I nodded.
"Do you know if Bailey is in her office?"Bailey is our athletic trainer.
"Yea she is. Why are you hurt?" I chuckled at Coach Martells overprotectiveness.
