Black wings fell to the ground brushing the grass away with wisps of smoke that dripped from them. Those wisps licked at the air, like a beggar's tongue to a rich-man’s foot for the crumb that clung to their soles; before dissipating into the sky, or be absorbed by the wisps of another falling feather. Feathers that continued to fall from the sky, from a dark being. With wings that seemed to devour light leaving an empty void around them. A light shone brightly from the center with too much light for the darkness to consume it flooded out into the blue sky. The girl, Lucrece, her light only grew as the winged one fell towards the ground. Those wings wrapped around her, to protect or devour her I do not know; but oh did she shine.

As she fell the world around them collapsed pulled into a deep darkness. He sat up sharply looking around his room, his chest felt heavy, and it was hard for him to breath under all of the emotions. He felt worse than he had when it even happened, if that is even possible.

Running a hand through his hair aggressively as he breathed out a ragged sigh. He wished that he could sleep, truly sleep without that dream. No nightmare, always coming back. There never wasn't a night when he couldn't see it in his sleep, those tears leaving shining stains across her pale cheeks, and hear her screams that shattered his glass heart. He tensed at the thought, he'd never wanted her to feel such a pain, but there is no way to turn back the past, memories will stay till the end of time.
