Somewhere above the human realm...

"Lucifer? I've heard his name countless times already, but have never laid eyes on him." Says Elena, the most treasured and only daughter of God.

Nova, the only person Elena reveals her secrets to, bonks her head. "Ouch, what was that for?!" Asks Elena.

"How could you not know such a charismatic angel!" Nova exclaims in disbelief at the sight of her beloved friend's ignorance.

"What's so special about him that every woman here starts acting weirdly at the mere mention of his name?" Elena asks curiously.

Nova shakes her head, "My dear friend. For once, I beg you to take a look near the heavenly throne. For you'll find all the archangels, but more importantly, Lucifer."

"I would rather not disturb Father with my presence, just to take a mere glance at this Lucifer you speak of." The unbothered Elena rises to her feet while Nova sighs.

"Let's take a walk around, I wish to meet our dearest ones." Elena extends her hand for Nova to stand up. Nova nods and stands on her feet with Elena's help.

"Elena! Nova!" Evelyn shouts as she waves at the two beauties. "Gracefully, please." Selena sighs as Evelyn composes herself and nods.

"It's fine, Selena. Go easy on poor Evelyn." Elena smiles while Selena giggles, "Well, if you say so."

Evelyn and Nova exchange their enthusiastic greetings as all of them then start walking down the cloudy paths of heaven.

"Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had wings too?" Evelyn pouts as the others sigh. "We're not angels, Lyn. But I do wish we could possess them." Elena says while imagining the experience.

"Oh, how marvelous of an experience it would be. Flying around gracefully through this serene place!" Selena exclaims as she twirls around.

"You need wings for that, miss." Jaan pokes Selena while Jakah and Noa laugh. "I'm aware of that, and that's what I wish to have too." Selena clears her throat as she crosses her arms over her chest.

"Why must you worry about that, when you have angels like us?" Jakah suggests as Evelyn grins, "Would you really help us experience it?"

"Of course we will." Noa smirks while his twin snickers. "You'll want us to do something for it, of course." Says Nova.

"Absolutely right, my dear sister." Noa grins as Nova rolls her eyes. "What must we do to gain the thrilling experience of flight?" Elena asks as the boys ponder.

"A graceful race would suffice." Jaan suggests as Jakah and Noa laugh. "You sure love gracefullness, Jaan." Evelyn chuckles along with Nova.

"Because our dear Selena loves graceful things. Isn't that right, miss?" Jaan grins cheekily while Selena smiles sarcastically.

"Alright, a race it is." Elena nods as the four girls stand in their positions.

"The slowest lady will lose her precious chance!" Noa says as they nod. "Alright, be careful. I'll stand over there. If you pass by me, you've won." Jakah says as he walks ahead to the spot.

"All set, ladies?" Jaan asks as they nod. "On the count of three, two, one, Go!" Noa gives the signal as the girls race ahead.

"I really wanna experience this..." Elena mumbles as she runs ahead swiftly. She runs past Jakah and turns around to see the others, but the thought of stopping doesn't cross her mind as she keeps running backwards.

Jakah announces, "Elena is the first! Nova second-" "Hey, watch out-!" Jaan and Noa notice Elena at the edge of the boundary. "Elena!" Nova screams as Evelyn and Selena look pale. It's too late cuz Elena is already at the end and is about to fall down.

"What..." Elena feels her body tilt back as she squints her eyes, ready to fall off heaven.

But she doesn't feel herself fall. Instead, she finds two arms wrap around her delicate body and hold her tightly like a princess.

She relaxes her eyes as she slowly opens them to take a look at her savior. The others watch this and get surprised as their eyes widen, "Archangel... Lucifer..."

And that's how this lengthy yet beautiful story of love began.
