It's currently the early morning for the Task Force. The soldiers would have to be awake in less than 35 minutes, but Simon Riley was wide awake. He was a little shocked and scared from what happened the day before. He lay on his bunk, looking up at the bed above him. His eyes were tired and his leg was in pain.

What happened you ask? I'll make it simple.

Hereford, England.
12:35 P. M
TF141 Base; Captain Price's office.

Ghost patiently waits for the captain to return. He was asked to come into the captain's office earlier that day so he was a little late. But Ghost doesn't care. He was reckless, hardly cared for things. He sighed and relaxed himself, knowing he might get scolded later.

Soon the door opened with a soft click and closed. Footsteps walked over to the desk and Ghost sat back up. The Captain was in the room.

Captain John Price wasn't your most ideal captain. He wasn't very strict all the time. In fact, he liked to play around sometimes at the base. Although... missions were business. That's why Simon was here in the first place.

"Lieutenant. I know how much you like working alone." The captain joked at first. Through Ghost balaclava, he didn't even smirk. He wore the mask with pride so his face was emotionless. The captain tried to lighten the mood but figured it won't work either way so he just dropped it. "I've got a... Fairly easy task for you. It's just an investigation and report back, got it?" Ghost just stared at him, no response is all he gave. Price just nodded along. "Okay... You'll need to go to America for this. Going to Milwaukee, you are." He passed over some papers, probably information about it. Ghost grabbed them and thanked the Captain. "You are dismissed."

As Ghost tried to walk out the captain called out to him, "Remember, just investigate and report back. Simple and easy." Ghost nodded and left the room, closing the door with a soft click.

He was going over the paper work in the common room. His friend, John MacTavish who many called Soap, walked over to him. "Aye, what's he got you in now?" Soap asked. Ghost kept quiet as he continued to read over the papers. He was deep in thought and didn't even realize that Soap sat next to him and put an arm around him. "Another solo? Can I come?" Soap joked with a smirk. "The police there could deal with it. No need for me going." Ghost finally spoke.

Although he was right! The police could just deal with it! It couldn't be this serious could it?

Milwaukee, Wisconsin
9:40 P.M
Abandoned Lab?

Ghost had just arrived at his mission point. He was all geared up for no reason, he kept saying. He walked to the place and cut open the chains on the front door and walked in, his rifle in his hand, ready to take aim.

The entrance looked like it would when you walk into a hospital. "Is this a hospital or a lab?" He thought to himself. He turned on the flashlight and went in.

He examined the front desk and didn't see another and started to go down the left Hall. He walked through a few empty rooms, of course. But things soon escalated when he noticed that he saw human sized cages... He noted this down and kept moving.

He was starting to regret coming alone wishing he had brought his friend Soap to at least kill the quiet atmosphere he was in. He soon came up to a room with a label on the door that read 'DO NOT OPEN'. He went inside regardless and saw the place was trashed. A few medical beds flipped over and metal racked on the floor and tilted. The weirdest thing was... That there were claw marks on the walls and the floor. This worried Ghost and he quickly left the room.

"Maybe they were animal testing?" He said to himself. But the medical beds... Animals don't sleep on beds, do they? (Well besides pets that is.) He walked through the halls with a shakey hand on his trigger. Suddenly he heard a crash in a room and pointed his gun to the room. He walked inside and noticed something quickly. It looked as if someone actually was... Living in there. Some beds were in a form of a tiny den and there was stuff all over the place. He was so confused. But then the crash came again.

Ghost turned to the sound of the crash and immediately saw... A little girl. But it didn't look like a child it's face... It was just... Eyes. Eyes all that covered the face and they looked to have that thousand yard stare. Ghost's hands were shaking. "Hey kid, your not supposed to be in here." He shouted across the room. But yet... The child just stood there. Suddenly it started to run away and Ghost knew he had to follow it. He ran after the kid and threw his gun over his shoulder to get better speed. He finally got to a corner and realized... The kid was nowhere to be seen. He was comfused. "Hey kid, come out. I ain't gonna hurt you..."

He turned around and immediately everything went white for a second. When he realizes what was happening, the kid from earlier... Was biting his legs, teeth deep into his flesh. He screamed with pain and tired to shake the kid off. He kicked it and the kid ran off. Ghost was in too much of a panic and couldn't grab his gun quickly to just shoot it. He knew he had to go back to base, and fast.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hereford, England.
8:20 A.M
TF141 Base; Barracks

Ghost had returned about an hour again. The captain wasn't currently at the base. His team went on a mission a few minutes before his arrival. So it was pretty much just him.

He kept thinking about what happened the day before. It scared him. Ghost wasn't that kind of guy to get scared easily. So it was a little embarrassing and awkward. He sat on his bed and wrote down the things he needed to report but that kid... Its stare... He couldn't think and needed to lay down. He took off his boots and laid in bed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now it brings us to now. Ghost knew his mission would be over when he saw the captain that day but... He couldn't let it be over... He needed to go back. He need to find that kid.
