Ghost and Soap skipped breakfast to watch the creature. It sat there, staring at them the whole time, curled up in the blanket on the bed. It watched them, just staring, for over 5 hours.

Soap turned to Ghost and whispered, "What the hell should we-" Ghost put his hand up, cutting him off. Soap looked down and cursed. Ghost kept his stern expression on the creature. Finally, Soap had enough and stood up and walked to the creature. Ghost grabbed his arm quickly but was shrugged off. Soap got into the creature's face and spoke. "What in the bloody hell are you? Who are you, and why are you here? Are you some sort of alien? We can kill you!-" Ghost finally smacked him.

Soap huffed and sat down. "I'm only doing this because you've told me hundreds of times! For the love of god, Lt, we have to do something about it." Ghost turned to him and grabbed him by the collar. "Well don't go up to it and yell in its face!" They stayed in this position for a little bit before suddenly, the creature made a small sound.

They both turned to the creature with confusion. Ghost let go of Soap and quickly went over to it, standing over it. "What did you say?" The creature made another sound.

This time only louder and more angrily. Soap laughed. "Sounds like a frog. Angry little thing now, ain't it?" He walked over and poked it. "Angry? Angry because Mister Ghost here is being a little tough to you?~ huh?~" He poked it again before making the grave mistake to poke its cheek. The creature suddenly bit his finger and Soap screamed, grabbing its face to pull it off. "GET OFF! GET OFF DAMNIT!" He yelled. Ghost gasped and looked at the poor thing. "Let him go. Now!" He shouted with a stern voice.

The creature, though, didn't let go. still having Soap's finger in its face. Soap continued to scream and Ghost grabbed its arm, forcing the creature to look at him. "Let. Him. Go." This time... The creature listened. It released Soap's finger and jumped back into the blanket it was under earlier. Soap was flabbergasted and turned to Ghost. "What the hell did you do?!" His finger wasn't damaged at all, with no blood or bite marks. Ghost looked at his finger and then up at Soap. "Stop being so dramatic next time." Soap scoffed, "Show off..."

(I'm gonna use their real names now but I'll refer to Soap as Johnny and Price as John)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Simon and Johnny sit in the cafeteria. Simon just stared at his glass of water and Johnny played with his food on his table. Kyle came over with his plate and nudged Johnny. "What's with the sad faces? Y'all look a little tired? You weren't at training this morning." Johnny jumped slightly but let out a sigh. "We're just feeling a bit under the weather I guess." Ghost nodded. Kyle shrugged it off and ate his food.

Halfway through his sandwich, he made up the comment of Johnny screaming. "I heard Johnny screaming from your room Simon, any idea what was going on?" The two tensed up and Ghost just laughed it off. Kyle and Johnny gave him an awkward look, obviously not used to that.

"We just... were making up for lost training." Ghost responded. Johnny nodded hesitantly. Kyle gave them a suspicious look. "And Johnny here was screaming bloody murder? I don't think that's sparring." Ghost aggressively grabbed his cup of water and swallowed it in one gulp. The two of them knew what that meant...

"We were only sparring. And if you think otherwise, I'll gut your throat out. Understanding." Even though it was directed at Kyle, they both nodded. Ghost slammed his cup back down on the table and glared at him. "Woah there, no need to get your panties in a twist." The three quickly turned to look at the person at the head of the table. It was only John, the captain of their team. The three sighed, Johnny's face slammed into the table causing it to shake.

John sat next to Simon. "What's up? You're stressed about something. And I don't enjoy it when my team is stressed." Kyle scoffed and softly muttered, "More like you're stressed." John heard him and gave him a strict glare. "Me and Johnny here are just a little bit ill. Nothing more." Simon responded. "But I thought you said-" Kyle received more glares from them.

"We're just busy with things at home, is all. Nothing very important or-" Johnny suddenly tensed up before speaking more carefully "- anything, really..." Simon looked towards Johnny with confusion. Johnny motioned to behind him. "Hmm... okay then, I'll be back." John got up and Simon turned and quickly pulled John back. "Actually- how about you tell us how your day was? Are the rookies any better?" John gave him a suspicious look and nodded slowly. "Yeah? I suppose." Little do Kyle and John know, the creature had just wandered into the Cafeteria, standing there like a deer in headlights "A-and how were they? Any fuck ups?" Johnny tried to distract, slowly moving to the edge of his seat. "Well, one did slip on nothing during exit training-" Simon and Johnny quickly got up and ran to the exit to leave, grabbing the creature. Kyle looked at John and they both shrugged.

"How the hell did you get out?! I swear he locked the door earlier!" Soap yelled at the creature. "I swear if you do that again I'm gonna." The creature suddenly made an unknown noise.

"What?"

Simon picked up the creature under its arms and held it up, groaning with agitation. "What are you saying?" The creature didn't make any more noises, just staring at him. "It that... Is it's name or something? I just hope it's not doing something like summoning demons or something-" Simon sighed. "Oloi? What is that supposed to mean, kid?"

ₒₗ0ᵢ

Simon stayed quiet a little longer and finally came to the solution. He pointed to himself. "Simon." He pointed to Johnny. "That's Johnny." The creature pointed to itself, already knowing what was happening, "Ol-... Your name is Oloi?"

ₒₗ0ᵢ

"I can't say that kid... But we can work on it. For now, we'll call you Oloi." Johnny looked offended and smacked Simon upside the head. "Are you serious? You give it a name?! Simon, this isn't a pet. This is alien!" "Do you wanna keep calling it an 'it'?" "Well-" "What other choice do we have? It's better we... train it to learn to stay here than to get in trouble."
