The night air is cold and crisp as you and Ryan sprint towards his car, his hands fumbling with the keys in a desperate attempt to unlock the door. Adrenaline courses through your veins, propelling you forward as your heart pounds in your chest. Fearful glances are cast over your shoulder, the memory of Zac's transformation haunting your thoughts like a relentless nightmare.

"Get in!" Ryan's urgent shout pierces through the tension, and you waste no time sliding into the passenger seat. Your breath comes in ragged gasps as Ryan starts the engine and peels out of the parking lot, the tires screeching against the pavement as you speed away from the office, leaving the memory of the creature's howls echoing in your ears.

"What the hell was that?" you gasp, your voice trembling with fear as you struggle to comprehend the nightmare that had unfolded before you. Ryan's knuckles are white as he grips the steering wheel, his eyes darting between the road ahead and the rearview mirror, then to your bloody led, his expression tense with worry.

"I don't know," he replies, his voice barely above a whisper. "But we need to take you to the hospital. That bite looks bad." You glance down at your leg, the fabric of your pants torn and stained with blood. A sharp pain shoots through your calf, and you wince as you see the deep gash left by the creature's teeth.

"I hope Zac is okay," you murmur, your thoughts drifting back to your fallen colleague. The image of his transformation still haunts you, and you can't shake the feeling that you've witnessed something beyond the realm of possibility. The word "werewolf" lingers on the tip of your tongue, but you hesitate to voice it aloud as Ryan's expression darkens.

The pain in your leg intensifies, and you grit your teeth as Ryan accelerates towards the hospital. The world blurs past you in a haze of streetlights and shadows, the night sky a distant backdrop to the chaos unfolding around you. Heat surges through your body, and a wave of dizziness washes over you, threatening to pull you into unconsciousness.

You glance at Ryan, but his focus remains fixed on the road ahead. With each passing moment, the world seems to spin faster and faster, until everything blurs into a blur of motion and noise. The hospital looms ahead, a beacon of hope in the darkness, but as you draw closer, your vision begins to fade, and you feel yourself slipping away into the abyss.
