"oh!, look who's here" a strange voice interrupted Nott's explanation, both teenagers turned in annoyance towards the source of that voice, and the moment Corvina's blue gaze met Mattheo Riddle's brown one, the high the joint had given the girl disappeared instantly, all the color form her face drained.

Unfortunately, right next to Mattheo stood Tom, looking at them both with a raised eyebrow, seconds later, the rest of the Slytherins joined in, Malfoy snarled at the sight of the girl who had touched his girlfriend.

"holy shit, Scamander!" Zabini smiled brightly at the girl, shocked to see her right there, specially with Nott after weeks of avoidance. "nice to see you here!"

"hi guys" Corvina smiled uncomfortably, immediately her gaze went straight to Parkinson's and her heart raced at the sight of the girl who denied to leave her mind. She looked even more beautiful, her dark brown hair fell over her shoulders in soft waves, she was wearing a quidditch hoodie way too big for being hers and a small jeans shorts. She truly thought Pansy Parkinson was incredibly beautiful. The girl gave Corvina a shy smile but suddenly, the angry face of Draco Malfoy was now blocking their view. He caught her staring at his girlfriend.

"what are you doing here, mates?" Nott asked trying to break the uncomfortable silence.

"looks like we had the same idea for our night" Tom answered with a smirk followed by his brother's. "can we join?"

Nott looked at Corvina, noticing her hesitation. "I don't think it's a good idea"

"no, it's fine" Scamander smiled softly to the group of slytherins and they nodded, starting to sit around them, the brothers looked at her with a smirk on their faces. Tom remembering the wand he still had on his possession. He might use it to his convenience later.

"are you sure?, I won't leave your side if that makes you feel better" Theodore took Corvina's arm and dragged her a few feet away from the group.

"if they tell you to leave, will you?"

"tonight I feel kind of reckless for the joint" he shrugged, both teenagers laughed.

"fine, let's have fun then" Corvina and Nott joined Zabini and Berkshire who were preparing the drinks and drugs while the brothers and Malfoy were talking away from them about the Scamander girl and how could they mess with her.

Finally, Greengrass and Parkinson sat not too far from them, Pansy couldn't stop looking at Corvina and the interaction she was having with the boys, specially with Nott, she noticed their hands intertwined.

"Pans?, are you okay?" Greengrass asked after a few seconds of staring at her friend. "Malfoy's not over there"

"fuck, I know but Ina looks really good, Daph and I barely have seen her around and I think it's because of me"

"I think it's because of what happened with the Riddles"

"or maybe both, and maybe she hates me because of Draco"

"listen Pans, she has a reason if it's true, you didn't tell her anything about Malfoy and still let her touch you, we all know she likes you" Pansy felt her heart racing, of course she knew that Corvina likes her and she loves it.

"you know we weren't together when she arrived, also I didn't thought he would actually be jealous of her"

"well you are jealous of Nott right now" the blonde joked and Parkinson glared at her friend, her cheeks turning red. "maybe you should talk to her, just apologize so we can be friends, she seems nice"
