His sharp eyes darted on the huge gate, where various students go and come out. He casually placed his helmet on his bike as he leaned back against it, eyes fixed straight ahead, seemingly waiting for someone.

It didn't take long before a guy, sporting an expensive looking long brown coat, paired with white sneakers and a slick hairstyle, emerged, earbuds in his ears and a backpack slung over his shoulder. He brushes his hair gracefully as the wind sways with it.

The assassin watched the young man walk a few steps, holding his smartphone as he glanced left and right, also seemingly waiting. He's clearly oblivious to the assassin's presence watching him.

Perhaps, he knew him. He'd known him for years, but the other one didn't.

He'd never shown himself and had no plans to. He couldn't and didn't have any reason to do so. M416 had kept an eye on him after what he did to his father, four years back.

His assassination of Kenjie Takeno, right in front of his very own son, had left M416 feeling bothered and guilty as hell. And that's when he'd decided to track down and keep an eye on the kid, who turned out to be the guy from earlier. He was now in college.

The kid in question was Kyohei Takeno, the son of Kenjie Takeno, the guy M416 had taken out four years ago. It was his mission, and being loyal to his family and clan, he couldn't reject them.

M416's sharp eyes didn't leave the sight of the car where the young man was in, and that's when it stopped in front of a familiar place.

Red Atlanta.

The assassin clenched his jaw as he already knew the young man's purpose of coming here.

He looks at the entrance door again and wasn't able to hold back anymore.

His eyes began searching for the young man's whereabouts, and that's when he spotted him seated at one of the tables, accompanied by older men. M416 furrowed his brows as he observed Kyohei smiling and chatting happily.

The assassin casually strolled toward the bar, ordered a martini, and then retreated to a secluded area at one of the tables. Fortunately, Red Atlanta's Unit 11 was relatively empty at the moment, but he knew it would fill up as the night progressed.

M416 kept his gaze fixed on the young man, who was still engaged in conversation with the older men, about four of them, all of whom seemed unfamiliar to M416. Minutes later, when his drink arrived, he took a sip while still observing Kyohei's direction.

I don't know why I'm doing this, kid. I don't know. I don't want to care, but you're such a bother in my damn mind, and I can't seem to stop myself from watching you.
