𓄼 DAMON 𓄹

Oh dragons, the cries of despair is like music to my ears. A song I could listen to on repeat for days.

The sight of the red fluids flowing out of the flesh, the sweet smell of it, how sticky it is the moment you come into contact with it—I love it all.

“You seem to have nothing better to do, little brother,” Damien says, a hint of disdain is apparent in his words.

And that only makes my smirk wider. One that definitely has his blood boiling. Oh, I’m definitely enjoying this.

“Why, are you dissatisfied father didn't give you a toy to play with unlike me?” I mock, still not bothering to look at him as I continue to suck the blood out from the being called human.

Just as I expected, he's enraged. I could tell by the fireballs he throws over my head—I duck.

His rashness has me dying of laughter. Sometimes, I have to wonder if we're really related.

Still chuckling, I turn on my heel and face him with my hands up in the air as if I'm surrendering.

“Blame yourself for your own incompetence, brother,” I add salt to the wound.

He could only glare at me, causing my grin to spread. I’m sure every inch of him is dying to snap my neck by now. I bet he's cursing himself for not being able to deny me.

Demons feed on blood. It makes us relieved from hunger. And the highest quality tier of blood belongs to humans.

Preventing a meteor from hitting the land is no ordinary feat, which is why I was given a human as the prize.

One would've thought we suck human’s blood on a daily basis but that's not the case at all. Even as a prince, I rarely get to have them. We always feed on the animal’s instead.

As if he can't stand me anymore, Damien clicks his tongue before he takes his leave.

I simply snicker as I watch his back slowly get smaller before turning my attention back to the prisoner at hand.

“Well then, shall we finish this off?” I say as I brush my hair with a hand. Then I use that same hand to grab his face.

I’m about to use my power to transfer all his blood to me but something happens. Something that makes my actions come to a halt. A signal happens. A signal that someone has summoned me.

          Intriguing.

Amused, my lips curve into another smirk. After all, no humans have been strong enough to be able to summon me. I should go and see for myself who this brazen human is.

So I step into the portal that leads me right to that human. To a weak, fragile girl. Every human is weak but this girl is beyond that. A frown creeps up to my face upon seeing her small back as she sits on the symbol she had drawn.

          This weak thing summoned me?

I couldn't accept the fact. I feel my ego bruised. How would my people react if they found out the strongest demon was summoned by a weak human?

I’ll have her pay for wasting my time.

As if I’m not enraged enough, her laughter sends me over the edge.
