Lumina POV

It's been 2 weeks now that we residing in the Freya's territory.

All I did here is study and magic practice, I have so much fun after I learn how to control magic.

I have fun together with Miss Noir she is easy to control her emotion, one praise and she already will do your bidding but I only tease her a little afterall I'm so grateful of the help of her family.

When we are in the village my mother didn't feel happiness, she may smile sometimes but I can feel the depression and stress of her but now I can see the relief in her eyes, she is happy talking with Aunt Ophea sometimes she will bring my mother for shopping tho I'm happy but hope she bought something for herself as she always bring something for me when they go out.

Me and my mother are having some tea inside of our room when we heard a knock. "Madame Luscia, Miss Lumina, Our lord wants to see you both in his office." The maid said before we tell her to enter.

"We are going." My mother said and the maid goes away.

"What do you think, Uncle Teodor need with us?" I ask mother as I gulp the last bit of the tea.

"I have also no idea, should we get going?" She ask and I nod.

And so we are now outside of the Lords office and we knock we hear him say enter.

And when we enter, I saw a man that I never meet within our stay here but my mother stop and gasp some air.

The man stand up practically and a tear drops within his face and he started to move near my mother.

"Luscia..." He said in whisper.

"Malcolm... I'm sorry." My mother respond then out of nowhere he kissed my mother... I got shock but my mother accept it... No it feels like she wants it, they kissed passionately and I feel awkward and I look at Uncle Teodor and when our eyes meet he can only do is smile at me and shrug his shoulder so I did too.

Ah yeah, I understand now... So this man is my father, I look at his brown hair to his emerald eyes, his handsome but his hair is long and disheveled, he had unkept mustache and a bag in his eyes.

After their passionately kissed they finally fell the awkwardness in the room and both of them blush after seeing me and Uncle looking at them.

Then the man finally notice me and look at me lovingly.

"Is this...?" He said asking mom.

"Yes, Malcolm, she is your daughter." My mom said, but I feel like she emphasize the "your daughter"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Lumina." I said as I didn't use my last name, I still not used to it.

He didn't hesitate and hug me, I feel warm when hug me, safety and security, that what I feel when he hug me... "Dad." I unconsciously said.

"Yes, yes daughter of mine, I'm your dad." He said and I can feel tears falling my dress so I return the hug to comfort him.

After the reunion we seated as we face Uncle Teodor.

"So what is your plan Malcolm? Does the duke still pressuring you?" Said by Uncle Teodor in serious tone.

"For now they stop pressuring my territory when they learn that my wife and daughter runaway so I use this chance to gain evidences and also use all my resources to find them, I'm so glad I finally held them in my arms." Dad said as he look at us. "Tho, I have a favor to ask you Teodor, I don't care how much I will offer, I even offer my territory to you, just... I just want them to stay here until I gain more evidence to prove that she is my daughter." My dad, bow deeply to Uncle Teodor.

My reaction to that information is shocking? Eh? Is there a chance that I'm illegitimate child? I look at mom.

"As I said before Malcolm, I never slept with him and I never poison or seduce him, when he invite me in his territory he only offer me to dinner but somehow he fainted and I have no idea why, then after that I return to our territory and that's when he accused me that we slept and seduce him then poison him, but I have no reason to poison the duke's son." My mother said in defense.

"Yes, I believe you of course but we still have no evidence to prove that, that's why if possible I want you two to hide here for now and until I find some more evidence." My dad said.

I also believe my mother, my mother doesn't lie to me and always told me everything I ask her, tho I never even imagine that we are actually noble so I never ask her about that.

"Malcolm, you are my friend and Luscia is also my friend, I have no need for payment they are welcome here anytime they wanted, my daughter is happy that they are here." Uncle Teodor said and father give his sincere gratitude. "I will also send my spies and detectives to find the truth about their claim." Said by uncle.

"I'm very thankful for your help, my friend." My dad said.

"You can stay here for now so you can catch up with your family, okay?" Offer by uncle. "Should I give you two a private room?" Said by uncle with a tease, I can't help but smile as I understand what he meant.

"Teodor, you!" Said by Dad all red in his face while Mom also hide her reddened face.
