The cart had arrived at the city's prison, it was large, and heavily guarded.
"Get the hell out of the cart!" The Seridian Soldier snapped.
Alli looked at him, and didn't move. "I said, Get Out!" the Soldier repeated,
He stepped up into the cart and grabbed Alli by the shoulder.
"Don't make this difficult." The soldier said, guiding him out of the cart.
Alli looked at the prison, it was more of a labor camp than anything else.
"This way Prisoner!" The other guard snapped, shoving Alli.
A bit later, he was in the central area, he looked around.
The prisoners here were nothing more than slaves, forced to forge weapons, and armor for the armies. He was guided into a small building, "In here." the guard said.
Inside there was a furnace, and a chair with straps on it.
"Sit the hell down!" The soldier said, shoving Alli into the chair.
"What the hell is this?"Alli thought as one of the guards tightened the bindings on him.
Alli showed no resistance, he was destroyed by his loss.
Alli watched the man as he walked to the furnace, and pulled a red hot branding iron
out of the fire, and approached Alli. He pressed it against Alli's face.
A strong searing pain filled him, as his skin burnt.
Alli screamed, but there was no way out of this.
Hours later, Alli had been put into a uniform, and put to work.
He had brandings on his face, hand, and chest, still stinging. The guards seemed
to be leaving for something. In that moment, something sparked in Alli, a spark of rage towards the empire. Later that day, the prisoners were eating,as he held his soup.
He was thinking about the day the orks invaded. He was staring at one of the guards, lost in thought. His eyes shifted to a slight blue, Alli thought about the Orks, the fire, and blood. Suddenly, the guard took a step back in fear, she unsheathed her sword, and readied it. "Orks!" she yelled, Fear was prominent in her voice. Panicked, the guards readied themselves for battle. Panic, and chaos erupted from every corner of the Prison.Guards sprinted to their posts, prisoners darted around to find a safe place.
Alli's eyes stopped glowing, as he darted over, and stood next to a tree
"False Alarm!" some of the guards yelled, and things eventually simmered down, but questions still needed to be answered. "What the hell happened!?" yelled the guard that was presumably in charge. "I don't know, I saw orks." the guard said.
The guard looked at all the prisoners "Get the hell out of here! I have shit to clean up." the commanding guard yelled. one of the other prisoners looked at Alli in disbelief.
Guards guided them back to their sleeping quarters.
Alli woke up the next day, it went on as normal Alli worked on weapons for the armies, this time no false alarms. But at the end of the day, when they were eating,
Something was different. Alli was sitting on the sand ground, eating his soup,
He was recovering, slowly. A Hogman woman named Arys approached him, and sat next to him, he didn't acknowledge her. "You're the new guy, right?" Arys asked Alli. He nodded, and continued eating his soup. "You're an Illusionist, aren't you?" She asked. "I don't know what youre talking about."Alli quietly said. "That whole thing about Orks yesterday, That was you." She said, "That wasn't me.''Alli said, knowing that Magic is looked down upon in the Serid Empire. "Your eyes glowed blue, I know magic, I can help you." Arys said."And what if I am an illusionist? it won't help." Alli said hopelessly.
"We can help get you out of here." she said. "What do you mean by that?" he said.
"Me, and twenty others, we've been waiting for a chance to break out of here." she said.
"How would I be able to help you, What use would I be?" Alli said.
"Well go over the plan, when it's time, First we'll need to train you."The woman said.
"Just think about it."Arys said. "Fine" Alli quietly said. "Great."she said,
and walked away. The night went as usual. The third day, more guards left the prison.
Alli walked up to Arys, "I'm In." Alli said.
