Chapter 3: Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself

When Lawrence makes it back to campus Coach Gillis asks him that he missed mandatory film sessions, Lawrence decides to mouth off and discouraged him and this upcoming season. Coach then finds out that he went to his cousin Hassan's funeral. He feels like he owes his old neighborhood something since his cousin was shot, he was also hearing how the media has been bashing him left, and right I'm pretty much a cancer nobody wants to be around me, so why do I even bother? That's when Coach Gillis laughed to himself and asked him do you think just because you make it to the top and fall doesn't mean it's over Lawrence you only got one shot, even though our season starts this weekend since you have all this pent up ruthless aggression I'm gonna need for you to bring it on the field! Coach then walked passed Lawrence and told him he will see him on the field. When Lawrence makes it back to his dorm room he sits outside the dorm when he sees a miss call from British, he decides to overlook it, and put his phone back in his pocket. The dorm door opens up, Yogi, and Pj walked outside with a slice of pizza in one hand, and a Gatorade in the other. Man why am I not surprised, you out here looking like a sad puppy? Lawrence looked back at Pj and looked towards the sunset. I'm surprised you not with Tooty tonight said Lawrence. Oh I will you need to tag along with us tonight Yogi is hosting a slumber party tonight so you know it's gonna be on and popping.. Think about it, girls in pajamas dancing with no, " that's when Teagan pops In and smacks Pj upside the head then asks him what are you gonna be doing what at the party Pj?" Pj tells Teagan to chill out, you know I'm gonna be all up on that booty. Teagan smiled then punch's him in the arm, and told him to stop playing! Lawrence tells them he's gonna chill upstairs and get ready for the game Saturday?? Boy you is so boring, I need me a man like that but I see I'm sick stuck looking at ya butt said Teagan Hey butt you like it though, besides Boogie Is still bummed about Mac Said Pj Aww LB is bummed over little miss bad and bougie Boogie she was just on Good Morning America this morning I'm telling you my girl is gonna change the game said Teagan. Yep she's way out of your league said Pj, That's when Lawrence snapped and told them Don't remind me, alright! Teagan leaned back and clutches her pearls, boy who is you hollering at like you ain't got no home training, look why don't you just talk to her at the party tonight Besides you know she's gonna be there waiting on you as always listen if she gives you another chance don't blow it on fights in the club, or random R&B chicks said Teagan. Lawrence sighed then told them " y'all talked me into it let's ride!" When the crew finally made it to the party it low key was a vibe as Mariah and Lawrence instantly locked eyes Teagan whispered to Pj and told him " our plan worked" Lawrence slowly forgot about everything so Mariah grabbed his hand, and took me over to the table where they was shots as she pulled up her sleeves and tied up her hair she plans to make a man out of me tonight!! So Mac took the first shot with ease, then slid it back to me. Lawrence quickly hesitated for a minute but then said what the hell you only live once so I poured up a shot then took it to the back of the head then slid the shot glass back to her. As Mariah poured up another shot she slowly put her tongue around the shot then took it back! The shots kept going back and forth, forth and back, back and forth until my final one I was trying not to plank but she knew that Lawrence couldn't finish the final shot so she slowly walked up to me, and did it for me. As everyone cheered for her Lawrence chuckled then made my way outside to get some air. As they both slowly walked back to the dorm room Lawrence noticed her chasing after me, he also noticed Callie didn't have a coat so Lawrence gave her his coat instead. The entire walk back Lawrence may have been a little chilly but warm at the same time until he found myself about to pass out from all the alcohol he consumed. The next morning Lawrence woke up feeling like he got hit by a Mac truck, Lawrence also noticed Mariah was putting on her shoes. Good morning I didn't mean to wake you, hold up did we? She quickly threw a pillow at Lawrence then asked him what kinda girl you think I am? Lawrence told her the one that would take advantage of me while i was drunk you could have at least took me to breakfast afterwards. Oh you owe me big time plus you threw up on my shirt I had to get it washed so you gave me one of your shirts said Mariah; Oh my bad Mac you know what why don't I make us some breakfast and forget that I even said what I said said Lawrence. You know rain check me, I have to get back to my room to shower and get to my morning class besides Gerald, Bear, and Yogi raided your fridge this morning so we can do lunch once I'm done with class said Mariah. Lawrence tells her That's cool with me, he will catch up with her; Mariah opens the door to see Pj and Teagan were standing by the door listening. Girl get yo little fast behind back to our room, and Boogie I'll deal with you later Said Teagan, As they both left Lawrence went ahead, and caught up on some much needed sleep before practice.
