Noah's pov:
I brought Fredrick back to my house. I wasn't completely sure I could trust him, but he has given me a lot of information he shouldn't have if he were tricking me. I didn't let anyone at the house know what was going on. William isn't that strong to be honest. He's, like Michael always says, an old hag.
"Okay, Fredrick. This is a very important thing, so I need you to cooperate with me here." I said sternly.
"I know." He said in return.
"Alright. Just have a seat." I pointed to a couch in my office, Simon sitting down as I say. "I have somewhat of an idea but I wanna hear everything you know. And I mean everything."
Fredrick sat in silence for a bit, then finally started speaking.
"William wants Michael because Michael knows things. Things William doesn't want him to. Things even William doesn't know."
I look up at him. "What exactly does Michael now that William doesn't want him too?"
"I'm not quite sure... He won't tell anyone."
I look down for a second to think. Okay, so what we need to do is get to that house. That's going to be the easy part." I say. "Then, we need to pin point Michael. Maybe you can distract William? He still thinks you work for him, right?"
"Yeah, I guess that would work!" Fredrick smiles. We both get in my car, driving as soon as both doors are shut. All I can say think of is Michael. I hope he's okay. I know William knows Michael's weaknesses, I mean, he literally used to hurt him when he lived there. I hope this plan goes well. I hate when this happens. At least this time it wasn't because of my job, but still. What the fuck?
We'll pull up into an empty driveway a few houses down.I leave a note on my car saying we just need to park here for a few in case the house owner gets back.
"Okay, Fredrick, you know the drill."
Fredrick nods and starts walking up to the house.Fredrick's pov:
I nod as Noah tells me to start the plan. I know he doesn't fully trust me, but I'm being serious. I feel bad about what I did to Michael. I start walking to Williams house, knocking on the door as soon as I get there. A few seconds later the door opens, William in the doorway.
"Fredrick?" He asks.
"You need to go to the pizzeria. There are cops- and- and they're going through the whole place because somebody found out the missing children are there!" I lie.
"What?!" William quickly steps outside and rushes to his car. I hope Noah called the cops by now. That was another part of our plan. Noah would call the cops on William and explain the missing children. Once William is completely out of the neighborhood, Noah comes running up to the house and quickly runs inside. We had to be quiet though. Elizabeth and Clara were still here.Noah's pov:
I rush into the house with Fredrick. He points to the basement, so that's where we both go. Once we get to the bottom of the basement, we realize Michael isn't here.
"What. He was here- this is where William had me bring him! It hasn't even been 12 hours!" Fredrick says, genuinely sounding confused.
"Maybe there's more to the basement..." I suggest, starting to look around. The basement was dark, so I grabbed my phone and pulled the flashlight up. There! A door. I walk up to the door and open it. The first thing is see is Michael on the floor, passed out. Blood down his stomach. I run up to him and check the stab wound.
"Damn, you really fucking got him." I say to Fredrick as I continue to look for any more wounds and his pulse, making sure he was still breathing.
"Sorry..." Fredrick says. Sounding a little- no, a whole lot regretful.
"It's... fine I guess." I pick Michael up carefully, making sure I don't touch the wound, and also careful not to wake him. Michael nuzzles himself into my chest in his sleep as I pick him up bridal style. He was freezing. His skin was ice cold.
"Come on, we need to get him in the car where he can warm up." I say to Fredrick as I turn to the door. We start walking up the stairs, making sure to make as little noise as possible. Once we get outside, that's when we see Williams car pull back into the driveway. He speeds to a stop and runs out of his car.
"HEY!" He shouts. That's when Fredrick and I start to run. We both get to my car. I quickly but carefully place Michael down in the back and rush into the drivers seat. Once Fredrick is in the car, I rush to drive away. Once we're out of the neighborhood, I turn the heat up for Michael to warm up. To be honest, it was really hot in the car, I could tell Fredrick thought the same, but Michael's body is actually so cold I'm actually concerned.
"Sorry the cars so hot." I say to Fredrick. "Can you grab his hand and tell me the temperature?"
Fredrick nods and unbuckles, leaning over his seat and grabbing Michael's hand.
"Pretty cold. He's warming up but it's still pretty cold." He tells me.
"How about his face? His hands are always cold." I ask Fredrick as he leans back over and touches his face.
"Warmer than his hands, still not warm enough."
"Right... thanks..."I drive us back to my house. Once we get into the driveway, I pick Michael up from the back seat. I warp his legs around my waist and his head nuzzles into my neck.
"Ow..." I hear from Michael as I carry him to the door.
"You okay, love?" I ask.
"No..." He says, his face still in the crook of my neck. "It hurts... and I'm cold..."
"It's okay. We're almost inside."Once we get into the house, I bring Michael to our room, placing him on the bed.
"Don't move, okay?" I tell him. I lift up his shirt and look at the stab wound again. Fredrick really got him good.
"This may hurt, okay? I just need you to lay back." Michael lays on his back as I say. I grab a first aid kit and look through it. I grab a stitching set. I know how to do stitches, just not the best. I know Michael won't wanna go to a hospital, they'll keep him for all sorts of reasons we're not there for.
I grab a disinfectant solution, put some on a paper towel and run it over the wound.
"OWOWOWOW! IT STINGS!" Michael squirms as I try my best to hold him down without hurting him. He was breathing heavily as I finished wiping the wound. I grab the stitching stuff, setting everything up.
"I'm really sorry, Michael, but this is going to hurt..." Michael has a tear in his eye from the stinging of the disinfectant solution.
I pick the needle through his skin, stitching up the stab wound. I really hold him down for this one since I could mess up big time if he's moving like he just was.
"Ow! Noah please! It hurts!!" Michaels voice sounding hurt. As soon as I finish I kiss his forehead, making sure he knew it was done and that he's okay.
"It's okay, love, it's done." I grab a few blankets and wrap them around him, laying down next to him. It was getting pretty late anyway. It took Michael about five minutes, but he cuddled up next to me, holding onto me like he's scared of being taken again. I hate that he feels like this. I run a hand through his hair, helping him fall asleep.Words: 1333
