Noah's pov:
Three weeks into this mission, and I get a call from Hannah. Weird. It's also weird how Michael hasn't called me or answered my calls. Wait- shit forgot to buy him a new phone. Again.

"Hello?" I say as I answer Hannah's call.
"Uh... I think you should... talk to Michael..." She says, all her words spaced out.
"Yeah, I've been trying to reach out to him but I forgot he smashed his phone." I say back.
"No, like, talk talk." She says. Okay, what is going on?
"What's wrong?" I ask her.
"I'm worried Noah... he hasn't gotten out of you guys room once. I'm always walking in there to see him. He's only wearing your clothes, not eating any of the food I make for him, barely taking care of himself-" She explains, my worry for him taking over.
"Give the damn phone to him." I tell her. I can hear moving as I assume she was walking to my room.

I hear a door creek and then her talking to Michael.
"Michael... it's Noah." She says to him. I hear the door shut again, assuming she was walking out of the room.
"Love?" I say to him.
"Hm..." he reply's without words.
"What's going on? I thought we had a deal, no?" I say.
"Sorry..." I hear his quiet voice. I can tell he missed me.
"It's o-" I was about to forgive him but then I got an idea. "I'll only forgive you in one condition." I say to him.
"What..." He asks.
"I'll only forgive you if you turn on your camera and show me you taking care of yourself. I'll give you all the steps in order." I say to him.
He goes quiet. Almost as if he was debating to or not.

His camera turns on, bringing us into a FaceTime. I turn my camera on as well.
"Stand up and first... show me your arms please." I ask, my voice going a bit quiet.
I hear Michael sigh as he lifts his sleeve. Oh thank god. There were nothing but old scars and almost scars from that incident before our wedding.
"Thank god... okay, when was the last time you showered?" I ask him.
"I keep up with that... yesterday." He says.
"Okay that's good. How I want you to go in the kitchen and get something to eat. And I mean a meal. Not a small snack."
"I-" He starts but I interrupt him, already knowing what he was gonna say.
"Don't even say it. I was told everything. Go eat." I hear him sigh after I say this, going out of the bedroom door and down to the kitchen.
"I don't like anything in here." I hear him say to the phone.
"Show me." I say. He flips the camera and shows the fridge and freezer.
"Uh... fuck... show me the pantry." I say as he closes the fridge and freezer and shows me inside the pantry.
"See. Nothing." He says.
"I know you like the instant ramen noodles." I tell him, knowing he say they but chose to pretend not to.
"But-" he starts.
"No buts. Heat it up. Now." I say.
He takes a cup package and opens it, making the ramen.

Once he made it, he walks back up to our room, sitting on my desk chair.
"Now take a bit." I say to him. He does so. "Now, what's going on?" I ask him.
"You... I miss you... I miss you so much it's actually killing me..."
"No. It is killing you. Literally." I say.
He sighs. "I have to give the phone back to Hannah... it's her phone... not mine since you know, I don't have a working one."
"Alright, well I love you and I will have Hannah tell me if you are most of it or not." I tell him, hanging up.

Michaels pov:
Once Noah hung up, I pushes the ramen away and got up, moving towards the door to give Hannah her phone back.
"Here." I give her phone to her.
"Thank you." She says. "Did that help?"
"Yes... thank you..." I walk back to the room and lay on the bed, getting comfy in the blankets that no longer smell like Noah.

Two days later, I heard a knock at the bedroom door.
"Who is it?" I ask, slightly lifting my head, knowing it was probably Hannah.
"Can I come in? It's Nicole." Oh, this is different.
"Yeah." I sit up, not wanting her to see me like this.
"You got a package, Hannah said to bring it to you." She said with a smile while giving it to me.
"Oh thank you..." I say, trying my best to return the smile.
Nicole leave the room and I open the box. I see a new phone in there. I grab the phone box and a note is in the box.

"Dear Michael,
If you break this phone within a month of having the phone, you won't be getting a new one anytime soon.
Love you!
-Noah."

Damn! This is a nice phone. It's the same phone Noah bought me last time, an iPhone 14. But it's a new phone feeling, you know?

(Sorry for so much angst! There at least one more chapter before happy ones but yk! Next chapter has a few requests so be prepared for a horrible plot)
