I looked towards my sister, who had a look of horror etched upon her face. I gravitated my eyes down towards Floyd. The poor guy was curled up in a ball, barely breathing. I faintly saw him blink his eyes and grin. He was so proud of his brothers.

Suddenly, Floyd popped out of Velvet's shoulder pads, heading towards his family. A look of shock spread across Velvet's face, and she jumped out, her hand reaching for Floyd. I ran to catch her, but I was too late. I watched in horror as her hand missed Floyd, by less than an inch. I could see the fear reflected in her face as she fell. It all happened so fast, yet I could remember every detail as if I watched it in slow motion.

As the trolls sang the final notes of their song, the diamond prisons broke. The force of their family harmony pushed Velvet, and she did a flip in midair, changing from falling feet first, to head first. I felt tears prick the back of my eyes, because as soon as Velvet's head brushed the floor, she crumpled on the ground.

"Velvet!" I screamed, finally realizing what happened.

The platform started to lower, and I jumped off quickly.

I ran to my sister, and felt bile build up in the back of my throat. Her eyes were rolled back in her head, and her lime green hair was quickly being stained red from her blood. I ran my finger down her cheek, cringing at how cold her face was. I grabbed her hand and put my thumb and pointer finger around her wrist, checking for a pulse. I panicked, and moved my hand up to her neck, looking for a pulse I knew wasn't there.

When I couldn't find one, I screamed and sobbed.

I broke down into tears, crying for my sister, my best friend, my everything.

"Velvet, no. No, no, no, no, no. Come back to me, please. Please, Vels, come back to me," I whispered, sobbing into my hands.

I couldn't believe it. My sister, my best friend, was gone. The world around me seemed to fade away, and all I could see was her lifeless body in front of me. Memories of us laughing and playing together flooded my mind, making this reality even more painful.

Not a lot of words (605) but I was bawling my eyes out to much to continue...
