It's just another regular day for me and my buddies. We usually chill out at this abandoned building and chat about our lives. But then, Aki, who's always up to good, shows off something he stole. Suddenly, out of nowhere, there's a deafening sound - BANG! A bullet hole goes through a nearby can of beans, making my ears ring. Needless to say, we were all shaken up. Haku looked at the can with a tinge of disappointment while Aki chuckled and handed me the gun, encouraging me to try to do better. As I took the weapon from him, I felt the weight of it in my hand and the light going off the gun. My hair, a blend of blue and green, fluttered in the wind as I focused on the can, trying to aim. For a brief moment, I saw myself missing the target and the bullet crashing through a window. The thought made me hesitate, so I returned the gun to Aki. He, on the other hand, didn't seem to have any such doubts. His black hair flowed in the wind, and his glasses shone in the sunlight as he pulled the trigger. The sound of the gunshot echoed through the empty lot as the bullet hit the can with precision, sending it flying. Aki cursed under his breath as my three eyes turned towards him. "I told you this was a bad idea!" yelled Haku, shaking his gloved hands in frustration. Aki glared at him and paced around, trying to gather his thoughts. I was curious and asked, "So, how is using illegal guns going to make us heroes?" Before Aki could reply, I spotted some pro heroes approaching us. "We need to move, now!" I shouted, and my friends followed me as we ran out of the alleyways. The sound of cars passing and our footsteps echoed through the streets. Haku avoided touching anyone in the crowd, and I knew crossing the road would attract attention. "Follow me," I said, leading the way forward. Haku accidentally bumped into Aki, who growled, "Don't touch me with those gloves!" We continued walking, and I suggested, "Let's split up." Haku immediately protested, "That's the worst thing to do in any horror movie!" Which I agreed with. "I know but, trust me," I replied as we walked. "Dude, this isn't a horror movie," spoke Aki as Haku seemed to look red under his pure black face mask. " I know!" we decide to split up in the crowd. After wandering through the neighborhood, I finally arrived at my humble abode. The house was small and unimpressive, but it was my home. As I approached the front door, I noticed that my dad had planted some beautiful flowers outside. The colorful blooms added a touch of cheerfulness to the otherwise plain exterior. As I stepped inside, the first thing I noticed was the sakura tree that stood tall and proud in the corner of the living room. Its delicate pink blossoms were a welcoming sight. The living room itself was cozy and inviting, decorated with little trees and Chinese-style decor. The small kitchen was just off to the side, with everything I needed to cook up a meal for myself. Despite its small size, my home was filled with warmth and comfort, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. I had pulled out my phone and called Aki, only for it to go straight to voicemail. I remember feeling a bit disappointed, but not surprised, as it wasn't the first time he had failed to answer my calls. To distract myself, I started cleaning the house, hoping to knock away some of the stress I was feeling. As I stood by the kitchen counter, waiting for my mom to come home, the door suddenly opened. "Hi, mom," I said, only to hear a voice that wasn't hers in response. It was Aki, my older brother. "Hi, Honey, we're home," he said, placing a plate on the counter. He was accompanied by another person, a boy I had never seen before. They walked in, and Haku, my other brother, showed the new boy the collection of movies we had. Aki closed the door behind them, and as they discussed the movies, I asked, "Who's the new guy?" Aki looked annoyed, as usual. "He's just another stray. Pretty annoying enough," he replied, folding his arms. I watched as Haku and the new boy laughed together, and I couldn't help but feel curious. I walked towards them with a smile and introduced myself, "Hi, I'm Miju, and you are?" The new guy had bright orange hair and different-colored eyes, which made him look unique. "Daijin, nice to meet you," he smiled back at me, and I couldn't help but notice his freckles shining in the light. As we continued talking, Haku suddenly stood up and grabbed his notebook. "Hey, it's time to do it now," I said, reminding them. Daijin looked a bit confused as Aki and I stood by the table watching Haku draw. "What's happening?" he asked us, looking puzzled. "We're making hero costumes," Aki answered, folding his arms again. I shot him a stern look, not appreciating his condescending tone towards Daijin, who seemed friendly and curious. "Cool, is Miju also from UA?" asked Daijn his eyes sparked at us. Haku's words made my heart race as he leaned in and whispered, "Can you keep a secret, Daijin?" I wanted to stop him, but Daijin nodded, and my anxiety skyrocketed. Aki's piercing gaze only added to my nervousness - one wrong move, and we'd be in trouble. "Trust me, Miju," Haku said, locking eyes with me. I nodded, my body trembling with fear. "Daijin, Miju isn't from UA. But we're going to be doing hero stuff with her, without a hero license," Haku revealed. I sat in the chair, my heart pounding in my chest. The room was silent until Daijin spoke up, shocking everyone with his unexpected offer. "I'll help you guys," he declared with a smile. Aki couldn't help but smirk and interject, "If you out us, ginger..." But Daijin cut him off with a confident response, "The Great heroic Daijin will never betray his friends." We all laughed and Haku took out his sketchpad, ready to capture the moment. As he began to draw our costumes, we knew that this was the start of something great - but little did we know that it would also mark the end of our unforgettable friend group.
