CHAPTER 6: The murderer in Church!!!

'Well this is the fifth mysterious death that has happened in town, the police are doing everything to catch the killer but we warn you to be vigilant don't stay up until 11 the Ripper is still out there in the wild,' the first news reporter commented

"Should we be worried about the safety of our children, are the police even trying to catch the killer," an angry resident commented on the issue at the local news show

From a noisy protest about the late solving of the murders

"Are they even police officers in Huntingdon the issue has been going on for years and yet the situation has not been solved yet, elect me so that you don't see news like this anymore, therefore I ask the crowd if they are really safe in this little town of Huntingdon," an upcoming candidate Mayor Steve commented on the issue

The crowd went wild but no one really knew who this Mayor Steve was. There were posters of this guy all over town but no one really cared about this guy but what he had just said on the news was something that the residents had longed forever to hear

From a normal household in Huntingdon the issue was now reaching to the civilians of the town. Was anyone safe in this haunted little town?

"Mom come and see this another death has been reported mom, the victim has been found in the woods, Mom I am now getting more afraid of the situation do you think we should move out of this little town mom," What could a teenager do else. The teens needed to meet with their friends at night, go see their boyfriends and even sneak out at night but the murder series was stopping any of that from happening

The first murder that happened in Huntingdon was in 1992, next came one in 1994 then another one in 1995. Then after a lengthy gap there were two incidences reported one in 1998 then another in 1999. If you do your simple mathematics you can actually find out that there were five murder cases that happened in our area. The common thing that all of the victims happened to be was that all of them they were prostitutes. Trials were done, investigation went on for a while and even some were prosecuted but the lack of evidence made the prosecuted to be released. The other common element that all the five victims also had was that all of them they once attended the same church, the Huntingdon Catholic church. Even after so many years there was something that all of the victims' families had not forgotten was so be the pain that the five families had gone through losing their loved ones. So pick up your little pieces and finish the incomplete puzzle. The media had tried to cover up the story but the media left the puzzle in halfway the story was too long left unsolved and the public was slowing losing faith in the investigators. They wanted something together.. Finding the real murderer. All that we know about the media, is that it creates the suspense and the sad part is that it does not cover the rest of the story completely. The detective agents that was in Huntingdon were fired on and on. If the detective was close he could be easily replaced by the head of the detective department everyone wanted the answer and when I say the agent I mean the whole department. What the department had done was to make a clear mockery of the Huntingdon police. It never got any clues maybe one of the reasons is that they never detected some of the church congregation. Maybe the department never wanted to bring justice to the deceased prostitutes or maybe they never took the matter really seriously. But these ladies had a story that was not just going to be ignored. Before they were prostitutes they were once good daughters that were once members of the congregation. But the dynamic of the whole story changed when Linda, daughter of one of the victims came to town. She had graduated from Oxford University and her anger for vengeance was the motive that drew her to the small town of Huntingdon. She was a new detective but if there is something that I know is the power of understatements of bringing justice to the five families. Linda was new to the industry and just being a detective was something far away from something that she had learned once at Oxford.

"Where is my office?" she asked the police officers present at the station. When she had arrived there was a lot of papers and boxes at her table. I guess they were of the previous agent that had failed to accomplish such a mammoth task.

"Go straight and to your right you will find your place," the first officer replied. As soon as she started walking the second officer replied in a soft manipulative voice saying "You should stick to the kitchen this is not for the softie," She paused for a second and Linda knew that if she walked another step she would be disrespected forever at the station.

"I dare you to repeat what you just said Mr Officer, if you are man enough stand up and said it out loud," she replied.

She slowly waited for the response and as she turned right she shouted

"Coward I guess you are the one that should stick to the kitchen". The station was quite impressed by such bold confidence that Linda contained. What an epic entrance even something that would go in the books but she was afraid if she could ever make friends at the office. But she knew inside her heart that if she would have such friends that have such a 19th century perspective view of women then she was ready to be lonely every day in her. As she tried to seat down and get a breath of fresh air. She opened the door to her supposed office. It was a fully packed small room that seating down was not even an option. So from that day onwards she saw the outside more comfy than seating in a small room fully packed. Even being a detective would really want someone to be outside more than the others that preferred to seat idle at the board meetings only.
