Stella "nurse aid"
Stella
Mondays
5:00 alarm rings out loud after a long weekend, Stella knew the same thing would happen every Monday it was almost like a routine she had to get over the hangover and go to work. She knew she had to wake up every Monday like that she never liked Mondays who loves Mondays anywhere? Every time that she felt like sleeping she always got nightmares sometimes these nightmares would go for days and these days would turn into weeks. Some days she woke up all alone in the middle of a lake, swimming from the middle of it then once she saw the land she would start drowning. She would wake up after the alarm shortly. Stella rushed to stop it and she went back to sleep, she had to take a rest for the weekend but she wondered how the weekend ended so fast. Then she got a small recap of herself dancing to house music in the club, shouting out every lyric that was in the club and she takes a yawn and cuddles herself as she remembered how she spent a $400 ticket on Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour. She didn't regret a bit as she had to take a little detour from cleaning, washing and even feeding the old people every day. She tells herself that everything will be alright one day. Maybe one day she might get the courage to finish her school properly. Stella had been on a call with her mother who was telling her to start nursing school and she knew she had to put her life back on track. She just remembered that she would not spent her whole life doing what she does every day. And then she went back to her previous Sunday where she went to church. For her she saw church as a way to interact with people of good reflection, she had made two new friends from the church. But so far they have been nothing short of good people. They went to the Huntingdon beach some Fridays and then after that they would go to a near restaurant and the bill would be on Gary, the other friend from church. He was not that stupid but he had to lead the example he paid every Sunday and he had a good job. Stella never felt the pressure for some time to pay the bill one day she was grateful for Garry but sometimes she did thought it was kind of awful. But she knew she had her own bills to pay a lot actually, do something that she never thought of having, her own car, her own apartment and the freedom and the independence that she had longed for her own life. By this time she had her own car. She then snoozed her alarm for ten more minutes she had to be at work at 7:30 take a morning shift up to 12:00 take a one hour break and she took an evening shift again, she had to take the evening shift she had no choice and her opulence lifestyle that she longed for came with sacrifices. If the lifestyles of going to clubs and concerts were on her list she had to make a few exceptional but for the past two weeks she was done with afternoon shifts for her to go for the Renaissance tour, she was happy that her little trip was worth it. After ten minutes of just lying in the bed she had to get up. Went to her bathroom opened the hot water and after five minutes she would sit in the tub just warmed up her own body. And then take some breakfast then would rest for ten more minutes but this time she would be just strolling down her iPhone 12 where she would see her little following numbers there she would see the 400 views that would have viewed for her footage for her going on tour and the clubbing stories. She had to do something for her three thousand followers she had to keep growing every day. And after some time she hoped in the car and then she saw Bettina's house ( the old lady that she had to take care of) she had to go there every Monday for her dialysis. Monday morning's Stella took her Toyota car down the street first she had to go to see Bettina. For a while these little rides were filled with cascades playing over her car loud as ever for some time it was Rihanna or even Beyoncé. Was her job easy? That question depended on the type of the day sometimes Stella wished that she would never go back home to Africa but on some days when she felt low she wanted to go back home where she was loved. For Stella someone who wanted to be a writer so badly she carried a journal in her diary she wrote every detail of her life. She would hoot of her car and walk into Bettina's house. The gate would opened automatically but inside Bettina's house there was that loneliness that she felt inside that house. There was always a missing part in her house. For some time Bettina was a widow for almost her whole life for someone who was now approaching her 90s this was one lonely life especially living in a double story house. Bettina had children that were in the picture but Bettina life was full of mysteries and questions. Bettina was someone who really needed to be at an old people's home she couldn't do this all by herself.
