chapter 9

Pipers pov:

Time skip one week

It's been a week since i've talked to Johnnie. I've thought about texting him but I can't bring myself to do it. I just can't believe him, It's like since we kissed its ment nothing to him.

Me and Tara have been talking and hanging together for the past week. Not to sound cringy or anything but it's like she the only person who really gets me. I've also been texting Jake too and we have been getting really close.

I decided that I was going to get in the shower when I got a call from Jake.

Jake: " Hey I know you and Johnnie haven't been talking but he isn't talking to anybody. I've tried multiple times and he just won't talk. I really need you to come over and see if he will talk to you."

Piper: " Jake you know that i haven't been talking to him. Plus i don't think that it's a good idea for me to be talking to him."

Jake: " Piper please, please I really need your help."

Piper: " Fine but i'm bringing Tara."

call ended.

I told Tara what was going on with johnnie and we got into the car. I almost crashed the car because i was just so worried about him.

After what felt like forever we finally got to Jake's house. I knocked on the door and Jake answered.

Jake: " He's in his room." He sounded really worried and if i'm being honest i was too.

When I got to Johnnie's door I knocked. Silence. I knocked again. Silence. At this point I don't care if he's mad what if he's hurt? I opened the door and I saw Johnnie laying down on his bed.

I walked over to him and gave him a hug. I don't know what was going on but I knew I needed to do something.

Johnnie: " Piper is that you."

He turned over to me. His eyes were puffy and red like he had been crying. It also looked like he hasn't gotten any sleep in days.

Johnnie: " I'm so sorry Piper I should've never done this to you. I haven't talked to you in ages and i've never should've put up with brook. Please piper i'm so sorry"

Piper: " I really thought that you left you Johnnie. You hurt me multiple times and now i'm here trying to make you feel better?"

I was frustrated. I didn't even realize I had said anything before I saw Johnnie and the gilt in his eyes were killing me.

He stood up from his bed and walked closer to me. He gave me the longest hug I've had in a while. He cried in my arms as I cried into his.

Even after everything he did I know I need him and he needs me. If he wasn't here i don't know what I would even be doing.

He backed out of the hug as he kissed me. I kissed him back and it felt so right. Like everything in life was falling into place.

Johnnie was my everything and he was mine. After a while Jake walked in and gave him a hug as Tara smiled at me.

Tara: " I don't know was kind of magic you have but Jake really appreciated that."

She smiled at me and I smiled back. After a while we all decided that we were going to watch a movie.

Me and Johnnie we cuddling while Jake and Tara where arguing on what movie we should watch. Obviously Tara won and she put on the Maze Runner. We ordered food and all just enjoy each other's company.
