As we step out of the car and make our way towards the waiting plane, a sudden realization hits me like a ton of bricks,I just got into a car without freaking out. It's a small victory, but it feels like a monumental achievement considering it's the first time I got into a car after the accident.

As the plane takes off, a wave of panic washes over me. being up in the sky is a whole different ballgame. I grab onto the sides of my seat, feeling my heart pound in my chest. Spike senses my distress and immediately comes to my side, his presence a small comfort in the midst of my fear. I bury my face in his fur, trying to steady my breathing and keep the rising panic at bay.

My so-called brother sits across from me, silent and stoic. It's like he's in his own world, completely unaffected by my turmoil. I can't help but feel a sense of frustration and anger toward him. How can he be so calm when I'm on the verge of freaking out?

Despite Spike's calming presence, the plane ride feels endless. Every bump and jostle sends my heart racing, and I can't shake the feeling of dread that hangs over me like a dark cloud. But I refuse to let my fear show. I can't afford to appear weak, especially in front of someone who claims to be family.

So I paste on a fake smile and try to focus on anything other than the fact that I'm thousands of feet in the air. Spike nuzzles closer, his warmth a soothing reminder that I'm not alone in this. And as the hours stretch on, I resign myself to the fact that this plane ride is going to be a long and bumpy one.

Salvatore POV........

As I read the letter left behind by the doctor, it hits me like a ton of bricks. I have a sister-something I never knew about until now. The words on the page blur as I try to process the bombshell dropped on me by the late doctor. Lilith Rosa Morelli, my long-lost sister, sent away to England for her safety by our mother. The reason? Our father's rage over her birth.

" Hello salvatore if your reading this letter im propaly long gone I wish I could have told you sooner but your father had threatened to kill me if I brought up the child to anyone ever again, you have a little sister her name is Lilith rosa Morelli but your mother sent her away to an family friend in England for her safety, your father wasn't really happy when she was born a girl, because he didn't what a baby girl because according to him girls are week,he threatened to kill her so your mother thought it best to send her away, but enraged your father killed your mother,I'm sorry. That is all the information I have i don't know who were the people your mother entrusted her to."

With a heavy heart, I call my right-hand man, urging him to help me find Lilith. It's a daunting task, but one that I'm determined to see through. After a relentless search, we finally track her down.

Seeing Lilith for the first time, I'm struck by how much she resembles our mother. It's uncanny, and it stirs up a whirlwind of emotions inside me. But beneath the surface lies a world of pain and secrets that I'm not sure how to navigate.

As we make our way to the airport and then to Italy, my mind races with questions. How will I tell Lilith the truth about our family's dark past? How will she react? It's a weighty burden to bear so i decide to tell her half truths.
............

As she stepped off the plane, her hand began to shake, but she managed to steady herself. During the car ride, a small pebble hitting the side of the car triggered memories of the accident, but she pushed them aside. Instead, she decided to ask her brother the burning questions on her mind.

.........

"So, how are we related? I mean, do we have the same mother or the same dad?" she inquired.

"We have the same mother and the same father . You look exactly like mother did," he replied.

"What do you mean? No, I don't. My mother had blue eyes, blond hair, and pale skin. I look nothing like her," she countered.

"The people you lived with weren't your parents, Lilith. They were family friends. Mother had to send you away for your safety," he explained.

"Okay, what's your name?" she asked.

"Salvatore Morelli," he answered.

"So, we couldn't be siblings. I'm not a Morelli. My name is Lilith Lombardi," she stated.

He shook his head. "No, your name is Lilith Rosa Morelli. Maybe the people who took you in registered you under their name or something, but you're definitely my sister."

..........

She fell silent for the rest of the ride to their house, pondering over this revelation.

.......... Liliths pov

The ride to the house gets silent after I've asked my questions and soon enough we were standing in front of a mansion.

I mean tf my life has been a lie this hole time and he just casually tells me like were talking about the weather.

As Salvatore walks me through the massive gates of the estate, my jaw practically hits the ground at the sight of the mansion in front of us

Its a total showstopper, with towering spires and balconies that look like they belong in a fairy tale. Ivy climbs up the walls, giving it this cool, mysterious vibe that I'm totally digging.

Inside, it's like we've stepped into a movie set. The foyer is decked out with marble floors and fancy chandeliers that make me feel like I'm in a fancy hotel lobby. Everywhere I look, there's gold accents and plush furniture that scream "money."

Salvatore leads me through the halls, and each room we pass is more over-the-top than the last. There's fancy art on the walls, and even a freaking ballroom with a giant chandelier hanging from the ceiling. It's like living in a dream-or maybe a nightmare, depending on how you look at it.

Outside, the grounds are just as impressive. There's a massive pool surrounded by palm trees, and even a freaking tennis court. It's like a mini resort, but way fancier.

In this world of extravagance and luxury, I can't help but feel a little out of place. I look down to see what I'm wearing faded jeans and black tank top. Over the tank top, I've thrown on a big hoodie, its oversized silhouette providing warmth and comfort. And my well-worn sneakers. They've seen better days, their once-pristine white now marred by dirt and scuff marks.
I feel so out of place.

He guides me to a room and tells me that, that is my room I just nod say a quick thanks and walk in its so big i almost turn back out the door to ask him if he didn't give me the wrong room but honestly I'm way too tired, the flight took forever and it's already night time. Oh and spike is running around outside somewhere so I'll look at everything tomorrow.
