As Stolas drew closer to the towering tree, his palms became slick with sweat, and his throat grew parched with anxiety. He knew he needed to have a difficult conversation with his first love—to tell him their romantic relationship could no longer continue. The weight of this decision hung heavy on Stolas' chest as he approached the tree, his heart pounding.

He was sitting on a patch of grass, right where the tree roots began to spread out, and he was waiting there for Blitz with bated breath. The anticipation was almost too much to bear, but he couldn't help the rush of excitement he felt every time he thought about seeing him again. The mere thought of Blitzo made him feel all fuzzy and warm inside, and he couldn't help but feel like he was on the edge of something great.

Breathing near Blitzo almost caused him to faint, and he couldn't help but be drawn to him in a nearly overwhelming way. But as he waited, he mentally prepared himself for what he knew he had to do. He knew that he had to tell Blitzo that he could no longer continue their sexual relationship, no matter how much he wanted to. It was a difficult decision, but one that he knew he had to make for his well-being.

With impeccable timing, a shimmering portal to the realm of the living suddenly materialized. Blitzo tumbled through it and landed face-first on the ground, sprawling out in front of Stolas just as the sound of gunfire echoed in the background. The portal snapped shut with a resounding thud, leaving Blitzo to pick himself up and brush off his clothes. He stood straight, locked eyes with Stolas, and waited for the next move.

Stolas sighed as he tore his gaze away from Blitz's piercing eyes. "Blitzy, we need to talk," he said, fearing how this conversation might steer. He said, his voice tinged with urgency. He briefly paused as if gathering his thoughts. "I need to tell you this—"

"Oh, for fuck sake!" Blitz interrupted as he pinched the bridge of his nose as he realized he left Stolas' book with the other two munchings in the real world. "How the hell am I going to get back to those idiots if they have the fucking bloody book!" he muttered, feeling exasperated. He slumped over towards Stolas, who sat in front of him with his hands in his face, deep in thought.

Stolas sat on the edge of his perch, his feathers ruffled in frustration. He had been trying to get Blitz's attention, but the imp was too engrossed in his work to notice him. Stolas couldn't even form a proper sentence, let alone hold a conversation. It was as if Blitz only remembered he existed when he needed something. The owl demon couldn't help but feel used and unappreciated. He had always been there for Blitz, but now he wondered if his loyalty was misplaced.

For several moments, neither spoke, their silence punctuated only by the occasional sound of the owl rustling feathers. Finally, Stolas broke the silence, his voice soft but firm. "Why did you want to meet me, Blitz? I'm glad you reached out to me, but for what?"

Blitzo lifted his head slowly, his eyes downcast and his body tense. He let out a deep sigh, as if the world's weight was resting on his shoulders, and spoke in a low, hesitant voice. "I got intel from the radio demon about someone attempting to kill you; I wanted to notify you myself." He stopped speaking as he looked at Stola's serene expression.

"That's nothing new," Stola said with a sincere smile. He let out a deep sigh before quickly getting to the point before Blitz could interrupt him again. "I'm glad you reached out because there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about, and it involves us... romantically."

As soon as the word "romantically" was mentioned before relying, Blitz's eyes widened in surprise and confusion. He was unsure what the person meant by the word, which made him curious. Sensing that something was bothering him, the person asked, "What's eating at you?" in a concerned tone. Blitz hesitated momentarily but then expressed his confusion.
