Blitzo has been feeling uneasy ever since he last talked with Stolas. He finds it hard to focus on his work and has become more anxious than usual. Even Moxxie is worried about him. This is unusual for Blitzo, who was always on top of his game, never missing a target and always completing his job no matter how difficult the circumstances. However, since his conversation with Stolas, who was heartbroken by some of the things he said, Blitzo hasn't been the same.
Blitzo was sitting at his desk in a daze, holding a revolver in his hand. He would jerk his hand to let the latch of the cylinder open and load the bullets. Then he'd jerk his hand again to close it, using his free hand to spin the cylinder. He continued doing this for about twenty minutes, lost in thought about what he could have done to improve his conversation with Stolas before he heard a knock on the door.
"Fuck off, Moxxie!" Blitz shouted. He recognized Moxxie's knock on the door since he could only knock before entering his office. The others just barged in without warning.
"Your father is on the line, sir," Moxxie informed him through the door. But Blitz didn't care about talking to his father at the moment. After speaking with Stolas earlier, he focused more on his frustration. He couldn't quite put his finger on it.
"Tell him to suck his dick and not bother calling back unless it's in three million years!" Blitz retorted before throwing the gun onto his desk and burying his face in his hands. He dragged his hands down his face in a display of frustration.
"Yes, sir. Sorry, sir," Moxxie responded before returning to the reception area. He found his wife Millie standing at the desk, holding a dart and concentrating. She aimed it toward a target across the room, biting her lip in concentration as she did so.
"Bullseye!" she yelled with excitement. In celebration, she jumped into Moxxie's arms while her husband kissed her neck. Blitzo looked toward the door at her scream and sighed heavily.
He leaned back in his chair, put his legs on top of his desk—one over the other—and stared outside his window. From there, he could see many skyscrapers and destruction happening downtown. He told himself to stop feeling stupid over a dumb bird and focus on what was at hand: a bounty on the prince's head. Blitz has to get the man who's after Stolas.
Blitz tried to compose himself, but he couldn't shake off the feeling of regret. To distract himself, he reached for his phone and turned it on, hoping to find a message from his friend Stolas. Stolas often sent him messages with strange jokes that made Blitz chuckle at how cringy they were. However, as he stared at his blank screen, the weight of his regret became too much to bear. In anger, he threw his phone across the room, shattering the screen and rendering it unusable.
"Fuck!" Blitz yelled in frustration, running his hands over his horns and pulling on them. Hearing the angry outburst, Moxxie and Millie rushed into the room, kicking the door open to see what was happening. In the process, Millie accidentally hit the door too hard, causing the hinges to loosen and the door to fall off its hinges.
Moxxie involuntarily exclaimed, "What the hell?" before slapping his hand across his mouth upon seeing Blitz's intimidating stare. Millie rolled her eyes at her husband's reaction and approached the broken phone, discarding it in the trash.
"Get it together, B. I have intel on the description of the prince's killer." Millie said, pulling on the edges of the trash bag to tie it in a knot and throwing it out of the window. She wiped her hands against each other before walking behind Blitz's desk and pulling out a piece of paper to draw the person.
Blitz imitated with his hands the way he was going to strangle Moxxie, then walked backward while maintaining eye contact with Moxxie's white face. Eventually, he reached his desk where Millie was drawing the killer. He chuckled at her drawing.
Blitz expressed his disbelief with an airy chuckle, "You've got to be shitting me. This Fucking Supremacis? Striker? Give me a real threat," he joked. He then pinched the bridge of his nose in disbelief before letting out another laugh.
"Great! Let's give this demon a piece of our minds!" exclaimed Millie confidently as she glanced at her boss. Blitz nodded in agreement and immediately jumped over his desk towards the hole in the wall since the door was on the ground.
"Loona, sweetie, we are moving out! Get your lazy ass off the couch; we got to be somewhere," Blitz called out to her daughter. Loona was lying on her back with her phone in her hand, scrolling through reels. Suddenly, a piece of bubblegum popped into her face.
"Ugh, fine," Loona replied before jumping off the couch and shoving her phone into her back pocket. She made a circular motion with her hands, ready to catch the keys her father would most likely toss over his shoulder for her to drive. And right on cue, she saw the keys.
They piled into the van, blasting heavy metal music as Loona took the driver's seat. With her attention more focused on her phone than the road ahead, she scrolled through the latest news from hell. Suddenly, her ears perked up, and her tail swayed excitedly as she read the headline: "Let's rock this bitch," and she stepped on the gas, eager to join the action.
"Loonie, darling, I say this as nicely as possible, but what in the fuck are you doing?!" Blitzo exclaimed, his voice tinged with urgency. "We're destined to crash, you numbskull!" He quickly seized control of the wheel, veering sharply to the left. Horns blared, and alarms sounded in the back as Loona remained oblivious. Her nose was buried in her phone as she searched for ticket prices for tonight's show.
"Sir," Moxxie spoke up, his voice tinged with concern as Blitzo turned angrily to face him. Moxxie pointed a trembling finger toward the windshield. Blitzo sighed heavily, his expression morphing into resignation, an "I don't care anymore" look crossing his face. His gaze followed the van's path as it careened off the road, hurtling towards its doom.
"Un-fucking-believable, Loona!" Blitzo cursed at his adopted daughter, his frustration evident as the car finally came to a complete stop. After the vehicle collided with the edge of a building and flipped back onto its four wheels, Blitzo snatched the phone out of Loona's hands.
His wife attended to him as Moxxie began to see stars, and his head spun. Meanwhile, Loona crawled out of the van and followed Blitzo, who was examining her phone to understand what had distracted her from the wheel. She attempted to grab the phone, but despite Blitzo being shorter than her, he proved to be quicker than expected.
"Give me my damn phone!" Loona snapped, persisting in her attempts to snatch it back. Blitzo ceased dodging her and stared at her in disbelief. As he glanced around, he found nothing familiar, prompting an annoyed grunt to escape his lips.
"Of all the times I didn't give a damn about your driving, THIS is the one time I regret ever handing you the damn keys! We're in bum-fuck Egypt!" Blitzo yelled, frustration evident in his voice. He flung her phone into the saddle before clutching his horns, his breaths coming rapidly. "There's a hit out on the prince, and if that horny, feathery, bird-looking ass kicks the bucket, what do you think will happen to the business?!" he exclaimed, pacing in circles as Loona stooped to retrieve her phone, brushing off the sand.
"I think you're blowing this out of proportion," Loona retorted, her annoyance matching Blitzo's. Meanwhile, Moxxie and Millie appeared on the scene. Moxxie had regained consciousness, and his thoughts became more apparent. Blitzo, on the other hand, was beating rapidly with steam in his ears, his heart pounding rapidly in his chest.
Blitzo's hand instinctively went to his chest, where he felt an abnormal and painful pounding. Looking up, he saw Loona and the couple watching him with concern. Suddenly, the pain intensified, causing Blitz to collapse onto his side, curling into a ball as he struggled to breathe. Moxxie quickly fumbled for his phone to call an ambulance while Loona and Millie knelt beside him, offering support with a hand on his forehead and gently holding his hand.
