Chapter-17

Jungkook's POV~~

Hugging her, it felt like I was home again.
"I was so worried... I'm feeling glad you guys are here safe and sound." Her words came out muffled as she was struggling to breathe, the fact that I was clasping her in my arms tightly. I saw everyone smiling from behind, in less than no time they all joined the hug, a groggy chuckle left my throat, Hoseok was being extra chaotic. I saw Yoongi smiling but still didn't join us, from the corner of my eyes I caught Jimin grabbed his arms and forced him to join the circle. I felt truly satisfied, I think I didn't thank her enough for bringing me here and for letting me enjoy happiness.

"Hey! I can't breathe." She shouted but her voice still came out low, so I moved away laughing, everyone else following after.

She sat down on the carpet, huffing and laughing at the same time.
" Woohoo! Everything is settled down... Let's Party Yay!" Hoseok lightened up the atmosphere. Taehyung nodded his head agreeing.

"Let them come first." Y/N spoke, talking about Seokjin and Hwan.

Y/N POV~~

"What are these tablets?" Jungkook asked me. I was taking my medicine for my heat, which I haven't been received for three months. Female hybrid heat is actually supposed to attract the male hybrids but in my case it appears so weak, I didn't feel like mating or any short of horny feelings whenever I receive it nor it attracts any male hybrid. Maybe that's why Yoongi didn't get captivate by my heat scent back in that base, after taking a doctor's appointment I came to know that, there is nothing wrong with me, the effect my heat should have on me is almost negligible and my heat scent is so fragile and maybe not there that's why it failed to attract any male hybrids but I still receive it. I pass through weird stomach pain whenever I receive my heat now.

"These are for my heat." He nodded his head, his cheeks turning pink in colour, I chuckled after observing his face. He was shy.

" Why are you laughing?" He asked. I shook my head, dropping that topic, gulping three tables in one go. I drank from the bottle, ignoring Jungkook who was now clinging to my arm, I detached him away from me and put the bottle inside the fridge with Jungkook following me like a lost puppy.

"Seokjin hyung is here." Jimin came, notifying us about Seokjin's arrival. His eyes gaping between us and soon I saw them widening, his cute hybrid ears standing tall.

"I'm sorry." He ran away from there before I could understand anything.

''Jimin is dumb! I know from the start." Jungkook commented, laughing at the cute creature, taking a glimpse of Jungkook's cheeks which were still red from the incident, realisation hit me.

"He got the wrong idea!" I patted Jungkook's red cheeks which were hard to resist. He looked dumbfounded as he soothed the area with his palm softly.

"What wrong idea? What do you mean?" He asked, following me to the living room.

"You're dumb as fuck!"

'' Hey! That's not how you should speak." Seokjin's motherly high pitched tone helped me to get out of my trance.

"Hey is everything alright? Seeing your smiling face I assume that..'' I rubbed my chin with my fingers, examining his relaxed face.

"Everything is alright..and settle down...they all are arrested, the Court will give its final statement after two weeks."

"Jungkook... hybrid department is actually looking for him everywhere cause they think him as a deadliest hybrid.. it's better for him to not leave the house." Seokjin's tone seems worried and at the same time it seems like he was giving him warning not tol eave the house.

"It's not safe for you to go outside." Taehyung concernedly put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder and repeated what Seokjin had said a few seconds ago.

"I-I'll not leave..then". He replied, I saw him gulping down his saliva,  living with him for quite a long time now I can read his inner feelings. He's an open book to me or maybe for others too, his angelic nature makes him crystal clear, he's a pure soul I wanna hide him from this
corrupted world.

He was feeling uneasy, continuously changing his posture while listening to everyone, something was concerning  him. Not leaving the house is not a big deal but why does it seem to bother him?It seems like he wasn't even listening to the conversation his mind appears miles apart.

"What's wrong?" I softly asked him, turning his head towards me, changing his expressions instantly. He shook his head negatively a wide smile ghosting his features, a wave of satisfaction always seems to hit me whenever he smiles like that. I didn't notice I was mirroring the same expression as him.

His hand found my head as he gently scratched the area between my antlers, messing up my hair but who is complaining, pulling me closer he continued.

"I heard you guys are in a relationship." Seokjin spoke, we flinched badly, I had completely forgotten about them, feeling timid all of a sudden. I looked at Jungkook for help and I was shocked to find that he was not shying around like me.

"Yeah we're." He replied shortly. Seokjin congratulated us, his hybrids were chuckling softly while whispering about something in each other's ears, stealing glances at me and Jungkook. I assume that they were whispering about us. I didn't like that, it worsened my red cheeks. I hid behind Jungkook's arm.
I was never the type to behave like an amateur.

After taking a bath I came out, my stomach hurts like hell because of the sudden arrival of my heat, directly grabbed my pillow and make up to the bed. Everyone was downstairs enjoying their time and here I was lying on the mattress. I felt bored but I know if I get downstairs I will not be able to enjoy. My heat calms down just in a day so it's a relief.

I can hear them laughing from here, Seokjin's wind shield laughter makes me smile at my own, getting up I grabbed my slippers and headed downstairs ignoring my pain. It's not a problem for me to face other hybrids whenever I go through my heat since they didn't get attracted by it.

I dragged my feet towards them as they acknowledged my presence making room for me to sit on the sofa but before I could make it. I saw Jungkook coming from the kitchen, grabbing a sauce bottle in his hands. I saw them clenching around it, his jaw gritted, forehead sweaty. Everyone followed my gaze and it didn't take them long to understand something was wrong.

The bottle was on the ground now, he looked angry? I wanted to see everyone's reaction but my eyes focused on him like he had hypnotised me. His eyes turned blue and he jumped on me unexpectedly before I could think of anything.
