"Fely... ija"

daddy let go of mommy's back and run towards me kaya nabitawan ko din ang kamay ni Seb, i am hesitant to hug him back but mommy's assure me using his look that it's okay so i hugged him 

crying 

"My daughter"

he's crying and i am too, hinahaplos niya ang mukha ko at parang minememorya niya ang bawat parte ng mukha ko 

"you've grown to much i didn't even see you growing"

mas nadurog ang puso ko nung marinig ang psgkawasak ng boses niya wala akong masabi at magawa maliban sa pag iyak 

"I'm sorry that i was too weak to fight for you too weak to be manipulated by your grandma I'm sorry my baby"

nasa sala na kami ngayon daddy and mommy is beside me nasa harapan ko si seb matiim itong nakatingin sakin, I know mom and dad have a clue that we're on a relationship ayaw lang nitong mag tanong or maybe..

"how was your company on germany Sebastian" panimula ni daddy

why is he even asking that 

"it's fine tito my cousins are on it too"

tumango lang si dad habang matamis namang nakangiti si mommy kay seb 

"are you courting my daughter?"

kinikilig na wika ni mom.. napahawak ako sa noo ko kasi nakakahiya dad is here at pag kikita kita palang namin ulit dahil sa trahedya yan pa talaga ang una niyang natanong

narinig kong tumikhim si daddy di mapinta ang mukha niya but i know he's waiting for an answer 

sasagot sana ako ng hindi but i don't want us to keep it a secret and i don't want to disappoint  him too

before i could answer mom's question Sem answered it already 

"she's my girlfriend now tita"

natutup ng mga kaibigan ko ang bibig nila while kuya calix and mix shifted their seat, napatingin sa kawalab si kuya at si mommy ay napa o naman daddy let a heavy sigh 

"are you serious with our daughter Sebastian? you know you're already thirty two and she's just twenty five at kakabalik lang niya samin"

"ano ka ba pa six years nga din yung gap namin ni Aedan if you think that age is a hindrance no it's not"

i smiled at lucy that's a big catch 

"well i won't meddle on my daughter's lovelife, i love Seb even before for my daughter kahit na mas matanda siya cause i can sense that he can tame felicity"

mommy giggled, talaga ha? 

"i don't have a problem also about that"

nakahinga ako ng malalim ng sabihin iyon ni daddy 

"thank you for that tita, tito"

talagang di nalang to manahimik nag thank you pa 

"but you know, gusto ko munang bumawi sa anak ko i hurt him years ago and mind you Sebastian pag sinaktan mo siya.."

"i will never do that"

tumango si daddy at tumayo

"let's eat"

while dining pinag uusapan lang namin ang mga naranasan ko five years ago, i told them it was fun and lonely being an independent but enjoyed it a lot when i manage our sugarcane in alegria and being a public nurse in malabuyoc dad seems uncomfortable and guilty when i told them about my hardships but he continue listening 

"so di ka nagka boyfriend don? you know sa ganda mo na yan"

i rolled my eyes on chanelle 

"that's not my priority way back cha, and wala akong plano"

"or hinihintay mo talaga na puntahan ka ni Seb"

inupakan naman ni kuya calix si kuya migs i rolled my eyes again while they burst our into laughter dad smiled and look at me

"I'm happy that you find your true love"

i smiled at him too and to mommy 

nasa veranda si daddy habang nasa sala naman ang iba i saw that Seb followed dad so i did 

"Sebastian"

"tito Ferdinand" 

"thank you for all you've done for my daughter"

"that's part of my Job"

"no it's not it was my Job to protect her at all cost...but instead of protecting her sinaktan ko siya"

naunang mag si tuluan ang mga luha sa mga mata ko ssa huling sinabi ni daddy 

"she's a tough girl tito and she's a grown woman now"

"yes and I'm proud of her please don't hurt her"

dahan dahan akong umalis sa veranda at nag tungo sa sala upang maki sabay sa pinaguusapan ng mga kaibigan, mommy seems so fond of them maybe while I'm away they accompany her especially when her heart got broken nung umalis ako
