September 5th, XXXX [PAST]
Because of Kei and Kaede, I finally built up the courage to break up with Koji. I couldn't keep up with his toxic love. I called Koji to meet me behind the school, praying that this would go well.
Koji: You called?
Mika: About our relationship...
Koji: What about it?
The words I was about to say got stuck in my throat. It was hard to bring up the breakup, especially when you don't know how he'll react.
Koji: I don't have all day, say it already.
Mika: About our relationship...
Koji: Don't repeat yourself. Say it clearly. Are you an idiot or what?
I finally let my mouth open and spoke my mind, preparing for what would come next.
Mika: Let's break up...
Koji: Pardon? After I loved you?
Mika: Your love was hurting me!
Koji: Shut up!
Koji was about to raise his hands on me. Luck was on my side that Kaede and Kei were actually there with me to stop Koji from acting out harmfully.
Koji: I'll make sure you're gonna pay for what you just did!
Kei: Stop yapping now and shoo, shoo!
His eyes were glowing with anger, as if he was about to consume me whole. It was obvious that he was planning something evil.
Kei: Now that guy is gone, everything should go back to normal!
Mika: I hope so... Kaede: Come on, cheer up Mika...
Kei: Yeah! Cheer up, we're here for you.
Maybe it will, maybe it won't. Either way, this could end in a bitter ending. Hopefully, my feelings won't take a hit. Everything should be fine now, right? But deep down, I couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty that lingered within me, as if the storm was yet to pass, leaving me to wonder what lies ahead in the aftermath of this tumultuous breakup.
