Naina 's pov :-

As I woke up to the warm sunlight streaming through the window, I felt invigorated.

I got out of bed and stood by the window, taking in the breathtaking view of the garden and the outside world.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, and my little bundle of joy, Ruhaan, stood there, rubbing his sleepy eyes.

I opened my arms wide, and he sprinted towards me, giving me a tight hug and a cheerful "Good morning!"
"Good morning, baby!" I replied, savoring the warmth of the moment.

"I want pancakes!" he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Okay, but first, go freshen up, okay?" I said.

"Okay, done!" he chimed, already racing towards the washroom. But in his haste, he collided with the table in the middle of the room.

"Ouch!"
"Are you okay? How many times have I told you not to run?" I scolded.

"You never listen to me, Ruhaan!" I fake-glared at him.

"Oho, I'm fine, Mumma!" he said, his face lighting up with a mischievous grin. "Yeah, I can see that!" I teased, shaking my head in amusement.

After freshening up and enjoying a warm shower, I slipped into a simple t-shirt and shorts, relishing the fact that it was Sunday and I had the day off from work, courtesy of Ruhaan's wishes.

I hurried to the kitchen to whip up some juice and pancakes, just the way my little one liked them.

As I set the breakfast table, two tiny hands wrapped around my waist, and Ruhaan appeared, looking adorable in his plain white shirt and pants.

"Mumma, I'm starving! Please hurry up!" he exclaimed.

"Just a minute, let me grab the juice too, okay?" I replied, trying to stall for a bit. As we sat down to eat, he savored each bite and said, "Mumma, this is so yummy!"

I teased him playfully, "You like it, huh? Well, I'm glad you do!"

He looked up at me with those big, round eyes and said, "Mumma, listen..."in the sweetest tone possible.

"I'm all ears!" I said, melting at his cuteness. "You remember something?" I asked, already knowing what he was getting at. "Umm... you promised me something," he said, his face falling as he tried to recall.

I pretended to be clueless, just to see his reaction. "What promise?" I asked, trying to stifle a grin.

His face lit up again as I reminded him, "You wanted to visit the amusement park, and I promised we'd go today!".

He leapt out of his chair, gave me a tight hug, and showered me with kisses, making me giggle uncontrollably.

"'Okay, finish your breakfast, and then we'll head out," I said.

Ruhaan replied, "Mumma, I want to spend the whole day with you, and it's still early, so I'll complete my science homework first. I don't want to study later."

I marveled at his maturity, wondering why he had to be so adorable. "As you say, I'll do my office work too. Let me know when you're done with your homework, okay?" I said.

He gave me a thumbs up, and I nodded, clearing the dishes and heading to my study to work on my MacBook. Time flew by as I worked, until a knock at the door broke my focus. "Mumma, may I come in?'

"No need to knock, Ruh, come in," I said. 'Mumma, I've finished my homework," he announced.

"Okay, go change, I'll be right there," I said, closing my laptop. I changed into a pair of wide-leg jeans and a white tank top, adding a watch and pearl earrings to complete my look.

Downstairs, Ruhaan was sipping water, and his face lit up with a huge smile as he saw me. "Ready to go, sir?" I asked, smiling back.

"Always! Is Simar Massi coming too?"

"Yes, I texted her, and she's on her way," I replied, pinching his nose. He squealed with excitement, "I'm going to have so much fun today, woahohhoo!"

"Okay, let's go, or we'll be late, and your dear Massi will scold me!" I said. "Okay, let's go!' he exclaimed, taking my hand."
