I stood in front of the tall building and looked up. It was my first day of work. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't nervous. I took a deep breath and made my way inside. I was told to reach the 7th floor and meet Ms. Cooper directly.

I walked in the elevator and pressed the right button. The doors of the elevator soon opened on the 7th floor so I stepped out and made my way towards her cabin. The interior of the building was indeed very mesmerising.

Once I reached her cabin, I cleared my throat and knocked on the door, hearing a faint "come in" as a response. Opening the door slowly, I peeked in before entering and saw that she was working.

"Good morning, Mr. Spencer. Please come and take a seat." She spoke without even taking a glance at me. How did she know that it was me? I nodded a little and walked further, taking a seat in front of her.

"I am hoping you already know about all your duties, right?" I nodded my head immediately at her question but she looked up from her laptop screen.

"Next time I question you about something, I would appreciate it if you use your words rather than nodding." I involuntarily nodded again but saw her raising an eyebrow at me which made my eyes go wide. "Yeah.." I cleared my throat.

"Yeah, I got it." I heard her mumble 'good' at my response. For some reason, she made me very nervous. "You can leave now. I want you to start by scheduling all my meetings for the day."

"Alright, I will do that." She gave me an unknown stare while poking her tongue inside her cheek. Fuck, why am I finding such a simple gesture attractive? I need to focus. "And how will you do that? Do you have any idea about our clients? Do you know who all we are supposed to meet today? Do you know what presentations are needed for all the meetings today?" Her questions made me come out of my weird thoughts.

"I.. I don't.. I was about to ask-" "Well, whatever it is. You can leave, I'm gonna send you a list of all the clients, deadlines and every other information." She said, shifting her attention back to the laptop screen while I stood up and walked out of her cabin.

I took a breath of relief as soon as I stepped out. Fuck, she has this intimidating aura around her. I licked my dry lips and made my way to my assigned working place. It wasn't any other cabin or something, it was just a normal place where other employees worked and not that I had a problem with it.
