Hyunjin was frustrated.
Between filming a movie he really just didn't want to film currently and not knowing what was happening with Felix, he was being pushed to the edge.
"You okay, Hyun?" Yuqi asked.
Hyunjin was about to nod, but he stopped himself, "Actually can I just have a minute to myself. I think I just need to clear my mind for a little before the next scene,"
Yuqi nodded, "I'll let Soyeon know,"
Once the woman was out of the room Hyunjin let out a breath. He felt tense all over. He couldn't relax himself and it was frustrating.
When his phone began to go off he groaned. He didn't want to be bothered.
However, when he looked glanced at his phone, he nearly dropped it while trying to pick it up.
"Felix?" He said as soon as he answered.
It was quiet but he knew someone was there.
"Lix, are you okay?"
"I'm sorry,"
Hyunjin's shoulders dropped finally relaxing.
"You have nothing to be sorry about. Are you okay, though?" Hyunjin questioned.
He could hear Felix take a deep breath, "It depends on you're definition of 'okay'. In the physical sense...I would say I am fine, but Chan would disagree. In the mental and emotional sense not quite there,"
"Felix, what happened? Where are you?"
"I can't tell you where I am..." Felix muttered.
Hyunjin sighed, that was the second time he has been told that he can't know where Felix is.
"Why? Why can't I know?" The older questioned.
"Uhm, it's not necessarily witness protection, it is something that is part of Seungmin's field of work. Only certain people are allowed to know where I am. I wanted you to be one, but I couldn't because of the fact that my phone was tapped into and the person's main focus was us and you,"
Hyunjin's brows drew together.
"This is about that stalker," Hyunjin said.
Felix hummed, "It didn't start after I did the modelling last year, it was happening since I was about 19, but it only popped up more after it. The past few months when it stopped it was because I had public events for school and because of the sudden change in job for the stalker," Felix explained
"You know who it is? If you know who it is why are you in protective services?"
"No one knows where Ben is. He basically dropped off the face of the planet after I found out and confronted him about it,"
The name probably went through Hyunjin's mind about a billion times, he knew who it was, of course.
However, when he told Felix to be careful he never thought something like this would be possible.
"You can say 'I told you so' I kind of deserve it. I ignored everyone when they said something was wrong. Even Jisu thought something was off,"
Hyunjin shook his head, "You don't, you didn't think this would happen. No one did,"
Felix groaned "I need to think about something else. How is filming? Yuqi and Soyeon send me updates, but I want to hear from you,"
Hyunjin hummed and thought, "It has been a little messy...not knowing if you were actually okay made me frustrated and on top of filming, it wasn't fun,"
Felix laughed a little.
"What is funny?" Hyunjin asked a small smile appearing when he heard the younger laugh.
"I don't know. I mean I thought that maybe Yuqi was exaggerating when she said that you were upset because you hadn't talked to me, but I guess she wasn't..."
Hyunjin pursed his lips.
"Lix, there was a reason Lia and I broke up,"
"Is it because of the travelling?" Felix asked.
Hyunjin laughed a little, "If it was that I don't think we would've broken up,"
"You didn't break up with her because of..."
"She broke up with me. It wasn't just because of that, it was also because she realised that she wanted something a bit different from what I could give her," Hyunjin said.
"Oh, so she..." Felix trailed off.
Hyunjin nodded with a chuckled, "I'm not too surprised we were quite open with each other about it all,"
Felix chuckled, "Sometimes I just look at everything and this that we are in a very poorly made rom-com,"
"We are just another rom-com, I guess," Hyunjin said.
"Is that what we are? Just another rom-com?" Felix asked.
Hyunjin shook his head, "I think maybe in the beginning we were that fun annoyingly oblivious rom-com, but now I think we are something different,"
Felix was quiet on the other end of the call, like he was thinking through all of the things that could mean.
Honestly, Hyunjin didn't even know what it meant really.
But who could blame them for not knowing what they actually were or what they wanted to be?
