"Dad, I start my pediatric residency tomorrow, I cannot go in with two giant scary men," Felix huffed.
Felix rolled his eyes at what his dad said.
"Pediatric. I work with children, babies, toddlers, I cannot scare them,"
"Felix, will you just wait to see who they are?" His dad said.
The blond sighed, "If they are two giant scary men I am going to put my fighting skills to use against them,"
"Yeah, sure, call after you first day let me know how it goes,"
Felix huffed and hung up, then sat on the couch.
"You okay?"
Right, Hyunjin had come home early.
"Yeah, but I am sure that my dad is sending two very much so trained fighters who are giant and scary to come with me for my pediatric residency, where they will scare all the patients I have to work with," Felix said.
"Sound difficult, have you eaten dinner?" Hyunjin questioned.
"No, I have been busy studying and trying to find out stuff about my house and the two big scary men,"
Hyunjin hummed and sat next to Felix, "Sounds like a busy day,"
"Yes, it has been busy. Uhm, I talked to Seungmin the house could take another month, but he is going to try and expedite the situation the best he can, however, knowing my dad, he won't allow that, in fact he might spite me and make it longer,"
"What is it exactly that Seungmin and your dad do?" Hyunjin questioned.
Felix hummed, "Sorry, that is classified unless my dad says it is okay. Which the only time someone I know will find out is if I marry them that is excluding Ben, I never told him because my dad didn't approve,"
"And would your dad approve of me?"
Felix blanked. What exactly was Hyunjin asking?
"Uhm, as a person, yeah, you are nice and stuff," Felix said.
"As a suitor for you?" Hyunjin questioned.
That is what he was asking.
"Why do you ask?"
Hyunjin adjusted to face Felix. The younger's side profile was soft. He was nervous, Hyunjin could tell in the way Felix bit his lip and played with his fingers.
"You know why I ask, Felix," Hyunjin said softly.
Felix took a breath.
"Are we going to talk about it?" Felix asked looking at Hyunjin.
"Do you want to?"
"Honestly? Not right now,"
Felix made the first move in intiating the kiss and hyunjin made the second move pulling Felix closer.
It was a great kiss, it was sweet and soft and tasted a little of sour apple from Hyunjin's chapstick.
However, the reality of everything came crashing down fast. One, they had no clue what they were. Two, Hyunjin was a celebrity. Three, Felix was still having to be watched over for other possible threats.
Felix pulled away first, eyes closed as he took a deep breath.
"Something's wrong, I can tell," Hyunjin muttered, placing a hand on Felix's cheek.
The younger hummed and leaned into the touch, "I should go rest. I have to be up at Five to be at the hospital," Felix said pulling away and looking at Hyunjin.
"I can drive you,"
Felix shook his head, "My dad is sending a car. I'll see you tomorrow,"
Hyunjin sighed as Felix went to his room.
This was a complete and utter mess.
