Daria Asadi:

"This discussion is over, if I see any of the DeLaurentis' pressuring Delina next week, they should expect to return home without a heart," he says, voice filled with a burning threat. The look he pins the king with is one of no fear, before he walks away leaving the dining room with an awkward silence. In the moment, his stare was filled with anger, no not anger, it was a look of hate. King Leonas had followed suit with his men, I tried to keep my head down the whole dinner I didn't want to see the face that ordered the kill of my family. The deep look of hate I aim at his retreating form does nothing to heal the wound that opened when I walked into the Palace.

I look to Princess Delina, who has a look of relief on her face after Zakaria's threat. Princess Delina, there was rumours around Reatha saying she had gone mute, by the looks of it they were true. She had blonde hair that rested by her breasts, big sky-coloured eyes that reminded me so much of Lenor. Though her eyes, if you looked closely, seemed haunted. Pity had swirled through me, but she was the enemy. Her whole family was.

Her stare had turned to Roman filled with hope before it was washed away by a flash of pain. I turned to Roman who was staring at Kiara, who looked away shyly at his stare. Weird?

I turned to observe Adam as I did a couple of times during this dinner. He has a creepy aura radiating from him, not only did the difference in his eye colour make alarm bells ring in my head, but the looks of lust and warning he had slyly made to Delina made me want to dig my dagger into his lower spine slowly and repeatedly. I had recalled the vision that had Lenor crying from her sleep, her whimpers and eyes filled with fear. Could it be her, could it be Delina

It couldn't be.

She was a princess.

Lenor's visions are never wrong, a strong voice says in my head. Her visions are never wrong, I knew that I saw one first-hand, but Delina was a princess. There's no way she hasn't told anyone. Later when they left the dining table, Delina's hand had trembled, she had let out a small flinch as Adam approached her. If I wasn't observing her, I wouldn't have seen it. Maybe I was overthinking, but my gut feelings never led me astray. If my gut feelings were true than, I would have to give Adam a taste of his own medicine to rid Lenor of the visions of nightmare she has. Princess Delina, she will be shown mercy I won't punish her for her father's sins.

A sick feeling rushed through me, how long has Adam been here guard for?

"She's doesn't fight the man off anymore, it's like she wishes to die. She doesn't even scream for help,"

Lenor's words a few nights ago have bile rising, before Roman catches my attention. He gestures for us to follow him us of the hall. We leave the hall the other guards behind, as I walked up front with Roman.

"The guard that has unusual eyes, how long has he been working here?" I asked, curiosity go the best of me, I couldn't be patient.

I didn't expect for Roman to stop walking turning his head to me, slowly. His eyes had narrowed on me, before he cools his features.

"Adam has been working in the Palace for 12 long years," his voice contained a tone of resentment, he drawls out the word 'long' before he straightens and stares at me with a look of question.

"Next time, Aleksei let the questions remain in your head," his words contained an icy edge. Though, I knew I wouldn't head his warning. I nod my head and we both carry on walking.
