Anaelise Reynolds: pronounced like 'Anna Elise'. Our lovely MC. A single mom who works two-jobs, who loves her kid and never stops, with gentle hands and the heart of a fighter (Thanks, Reba). Nicknamed 'Annie', 'Anna', and 'Lise', pronounced 'Lease' or 'Leese'.
Jonah Baker: The only child of Anaelise and her ex-husband. Seven years old at the start of the story. Mischievous as any young boy.
Grandma: Dead.
Aunt Lorene: Executor of Grandma's will.
Next-Door Neighbors: To be seen.
Matt Baker: Anaelise's two-timing ex-husband (who keeps missing child support payments) and Jonah's dad.
