Deon looked at the sky, laying in his own pool of blood. "Is it finally over? Am i finally going to rest?" He thought to himself.

His thought started to go towards his older brother, Cruel. Thinking about what his reaction be to seeing deon there, 'will he be upset or angry that i wasted his sacrifice?'

He doesn’t know, he never knew  what his brother was thinking behind his stoic face

He took a final look at the sky and closed his eyes for good this time. Trying to find peace he never got in his life

Drew Thames looked at the bundle of white in her arms and the more she thought about it the more he looked like a rabbit, white hair, pale skin, red eyes. Quite peculiar of a appearance for a human

"Why can't any of my children be granted a normal life?" She thought to herself

Then she thought of herself , it’s not like she's  normal herself

She gave the baby another looks before returning to home with him

Deruth looked at his wife in disbelief as she announced her wishes to adopt the baby in her arms

He didn't understand as to why drew wished for another child when they had cale just 3 years ago

"W-why so suddenly" he asked

"He's my close friend's son and they are no longer here in this world, i wish to take care of him in the memory of my dear friends"

Deruth looked somewhat understanding and questioning who these friends were but didn't  ask

Deruth came closer to drew to take a better look at the baby in her arms. The baby had a peculiar appearance, white hair, red eyes and pale skin. Not common in humans

"Is it a yes?" Drew asked

"Yes, what is his name?"

Drew looked at the baby and smiled softly "Deon , Deon henituse "

Deruth looked somewhat surprised as drew left with deon

Drew when to her room after seeing cale taking a nap excited to show him his baby brother

Drew looks at the baby who was awake now and holding her finger " your gonna have a much happier life here deon, i make sure of it"
