Hey everyone. Here's an update. Enjoy 😊

~Not everyone deserves a second chance, but we all live for a second chance~

(POV: Zayyan)
She was still asleep, and it is already 11 am. She has to get up to eat. I have already ordered some breakfast for us.

Looking at her face, her sleeping face, makes me not want to wake her up. But I have to.

"Naina, Naina. Wake up wifey. Have something to eat", I tried to wake her up. She gradually stirred and woke up. She looked at me and asked "What time is it?". "It is 11 in the morning. Get up now. Come" I said.

She tried to sit up and I went forward to support her. Afterwards I asked how she's feeling. "I am feeling better. But I am a bit hungry", she said, while trying to get up from the bed. I wanted to tell her what Doc. Rumaisa said but I don't know how she would react. So I decided to let her be till she has gotten refreshed and eaten.

"Ok, get refreshed first then come downstairs. I will be waiting", I said.

I left her in the room and came downstairs, thinking of how to tell her. For every lady, one of the worst things to tell them is about a possibility of not having their own children. I was worried of how it would affect her mentally. 'or maybe I shouldn't tell her?', I thought, but immediately pushed it away from my mind. The last thing I ever want to happen is for us to have secrets between us, unless if serious.

Soon, she came down and we sat down to eat. We were eating in silence. I was deep in thought when I heard her voice. "Zayyan, is everything alright, what's on your mind?", she asked. "Nothing, just some work in the office", I replied.

She didn't say anything, merely nodded. We finished and she started clearing the table. I stopped her. "You should go and rest, I will wash them up". "Oh no, don't worry, I would do it", she insisted. "Naina, go and sit down. I will do it. And it's final", I said. I still remember some of the precautions Doc. Rumaisa gave me, and one of which is her avoiding cold stuffs, especially now.

She just looked at me, and nodded. I went to the kitchen and started washing up the dishes. I was nearly done when "Zayyan?", Naina called from behind.

"I thought I said you should go and rest", I replied, trying to sound strict.

I heard no reply. I was about to turn when I felt someone hugged me from behind.

"You know you don't have to hide anything from me. What's on your mind? What bothers you? Tell me", Naina said, with her hands still around me from behind.

I was already done with the dishes. I cleaned my hands and turned around to face her.

"Nothing wifey, come. You need to rest"I said, while walking out of the kitchen.

"Is it about me?", she asked, which made me pause in my footsteps. Why must she be so curious? I am not yet ready to tell her and I don't know if she is mentally prepared to hear as well.

"Naina, come". I dragged her with me and came to sit in the sitting room. When we sat, I kept quiet, thinking of how to start telling her. I looked at Naina to see her waiting patiently for me to talk. With a sigh, I began to talk.

"Naina, earlier when you fainted today, I called a doctor. She is a friend of mine, Doc. Rumaisa. You must have heard of her", I started.

"Yeah, the gynecologist, also known as miraculous specialist. Did she say something, that unsettles you like this?", she stated, ending with a question.
