Chapter 7: New life, Old routine

It's been two months now that Y/N has started his new life in the world of Living, he live with Kisuku Urahara for the time being, until he get enough money to buy his own place. Y/N manage to do some works for Urahara, while attending high school.

Yes Y/N choose to attend high school in order to learn from regular humans, history of theirs world, culture, technology, etc... Needless to say he had a LOT to catch up but he find this surprisingly fun to do.

It was now night, and Y/N change being a student to being a Shinigami, as he was patroling in Karakura town like usual. At first he was easily lost but Ichigo, Orihime and Chad helped him to not get lost anymore and to know the city like a pro. A few hollows were bothering some dead spirits but Y/N took care of it pretty easily and sent the spirits to the Soul Society.

Seeing that nothing would be problematic for tonight, our shinigami decide to go home and get some rest but as he was returning home he saw a blond man looking at him... upside down ?

Both look at each other, well Y/N just stare at the man asking himself what's going on.

Y/N:"What the hell ?"

Blond guy:.......

Y/N:.......

Blond guy: You're not going to talk ?

Y/N: Nah, my mom told me to not talk to shady peoples, which you clearly are.

Blond guy: A wise woman I must say haha. Hey wait I wasn't finished talking to you !!

Y/N was already gone but he stop in his track when the mysterious man appear in front of him.

Y/N:" That was a shunpo !"

Understanding that the man in front of him wasn't a random idiot Y/N took a more serious expression.

Y/N: Who are you ?

Shinji: Haaa finally ! I am Shinji Hirako. Nice to meet ya Y/N L/N.

Now Y/N was extremely cautious of Shinji as he put his right hand on his sword ready to draw it If necessary.

Shinji: Woah woah ! I'm not trying to start fight !

Y/N: Then what do you want ? "More than that If he wanted to kill he would already did, his reiatsu is pretty high."

Shinji: We know what happened to you, being banned out of the Soul Society. So, join us, The Visard.

Y/N: Nah, thanks.

Y/N shunpo away leaving Shinji alone with a disappointed look on his face.

Shinji: What a little punk...

Shinji took his phone out to call what seems his teammates.

Shinji: Yeah It's me. Nah I couldn't make him join too. Hey ! It's not my fault they are too stubborn ! No It's not my fault !

Y/N finally return to Urahara's shop but since it was night already he just goes into the home part, he walk into the livingroom to see Yoruichi drinking.

Yoruichi: Hey, kiddo ! Come drink with me !

Y/N: Hey, Yoruichi, and no thanks. Do you know where Urahara is ?

Yoruichi: Hmm ? In the back with Tessai, they are working on something. Why the question ?

Y/N: I need to talk to him.

He didn't know If he could talk about what happen to Yoruichi, would she even know what he was about to talk about ? He was about to turn away to find Urahara but Yoruichi put a hand on his shoulder signaling him to not move.

Yoruichi: Hey, I'm willing to listen If you have a problem.

Should he try ? Well, It's not like he had something to lose anyway. Well maybe his home, and financially support, and food, and bed. Okay maybe he has a lot to lose.... But It's Yoruichi, she's not the type that would just throw you away, right ?

Y/N: While I was coming back from my usual patrol, I meet a strange guy.

Yoruichi didn't betrayed any emotions as she was listening anttentively Y/N.

Y/N: He ask me to join them.... Perhaps you know them ? They call themselves the The Visard.

Hearing this Yoruichi frown, which gave the answer that Y/N was waiting.

Y/N: Judging by your expression, they are bad news.

Yoruichi: Let's go talk to Urahara.

Y/N follow his mentor to the underground facility that Kisuke own to see Urahara himself talking to Tessai, both with a serious look on theirs faces. They stop next to the two men.

Urahara: Oh my, weren't you enjoying your drink ?

Yoruichi: It's important. The Visard made contact with Y/N.

Urahara: .... The Visard are a lawless gang of ex-shinigami who tried to acquire hollow powers through forbidden methods. Their whereabouts and objectives are unknown, meaning they could be trouble down the line.

Yoruichi: The fact that they contacted you and Ichigo means they noticed the sudden changes in the arrancars.

Tessai: but why would they contacted Y/N ? I understand for Ichigo, however Y/N has nothing abnormal.

Y/N:....

The three look at Y/N, who had a drop of sweat from being watch like that.

Y/N:*sigh* I don't know how they discover it, but I...I think there's somthing weird with me...

Urahara: We're listening.

Y/N: It really started after the fight with Captain Unohana. While I was unconscious, I was in my inner world, but instead of only having your zanpakuto, there were someone else...

Urahara: Someone else ? Can you explain more ?

Y/N just nod and continue.

Y/N: Even Moerubara told me that he was dangerous. His main trait was that he had a white mask similar to a hollow. He wants to take my body or something in that type. Even now I can still hear him sometimes when I sleep, or when I fight hollows. But what make me connect the dots is when Aizen talk about a shinigami limitation and that he could make a breakthrough by using hollow powers. I think he called that-

Urahara: Hollowfication.

Y/N: !

Y/N: How do you know that ?

Urahara: Let's just say, there's a reason why I am banished from the Soul Society. I tried to stop it but... 

Y/N: Aizen happen.

Urahara just nod confirming Y/N's conclusion. Y/N started to think the best he could and try to understand the situation they were in, but something pop up in his mind. Urahara tried to stop it from happening but ultimately failed, does that mean he had a connection with the Visards ?

All those thoughtd gave Y/N a headache, so he stopped thinking. He know he would never be as smart as Kisuke Urahara anyways.

Y/N was back in his room, laying in bed. His mind wondering, why does he have a Hollow inside him ? Does his mother knew that ?

Y/N fell asleep while having these thoughts.
