Chapter 9: Meet the parents

*ZAYN'S POINT OF VIEW*

To wake up with my arms around Kayla and her so close to me, its the best feeling ever. Today was the day of the gathering and it is also the place where i try to get approved to be with Kayla by her parents,

"Rise and Shine beautiful".

"Morning Zayn".

"Morning Kayla, um you have to get ready for tonight, its the gathering, your going to see your parents tonight".

"MY PARENST! REALLY?".

"Yes, would you also give me the honor to escort you?"

"Of course".

I was scared what if her parents dont like me?, so many things going on in my head".

 *KAYLA'S POINT OF VIEW*

 I got ready for tonight, i put on a cute dress that i found, fancy flats, and tied up my hair, i walked out of my room and saw Zayn.

"Oh my Kayla, your an angel".

"Stop it, your making me blush".

"But its true, well my love sha'll we get going?:

"Yes we sha'll"

I grabbed his hand and we were on our way. i was scared of meeting my parents what if they dont like me? what if they think im a disgrace?. We arrived at the party and me and Zayn took a seat a table labled VIP. After me and Zayn chit chatted with some people at the party, this couple or whoever they are was looking at me.

"Kayla..."

"Yes ma'am ". After i said that , They grabbed me and hugged me till i couldnt breathe.

"Kayla, you've grown so much, we miss you and love you".

"M-mom, dad?". i said , could it really be them?.

"Yes darling".

"i have something to ask your guys why did you leave me?.."

"Well you see Kayla, me and your father are royalty, im a queen and he's a king, and we couldnt put you in danger for being our child".

It all made sense now, i understand why they left me with a foster family, it was to keep me hidden,

"Oh.."

"Kayla i hope you can forgive us darling".

"Yes mom of course". 

"Well Kayla, who's your escort hun?"

"Zayn"

 I walked to the table to show them.

"Zayn, how you been?" my mom greeted him

"I've been great your highness".

"So have you been protecting her from danger?".

"Yes of course i would do anything for her". 

I whispered into Zayn's ear , "Are we going to tell them?"

"Y- yeah i will". 

"Alright".

"Your highness i must ask you something".

"Yes Zayn go ahead"

" Your highness i ask for your approval of me and Kayla".

"Kayla, you and Zayn are together?".

"Yes mom"

"Does he make you happy?".

"Of course he makes me the happiest girl alive".

"Then of course i approve, if she's happy im happy".

"Oh thank you your highness". 

Zayn bowed. im glad my parents approve us now everything is perfect. After a while the party was over, me and Zayn were walking out until ..

"Kayla!".

"Huh?" who is it? a random man showed up and started approaching me.. Zayn jumped in front of me 

"What do you want?"

"i just wish to talk to Kayla".

"Who are you, kayla do you know him?".

"No, not at all". i was confused.

"Well then, leave now".

"I just wish to talk to her".

"We must go now bye".

Zayn grabbed me and we walked home, i took a seat at the bed wondering who was that guy? he didnt look familiar at all. That gave me a very bad feeling...

WHO WAS THAT MYSTERIOUS GUY?...
