As the bell screamed literally it was time to got to class as Luz was dragged inside the classroom they sat down in their assigned seats the class was full as the teacher had started roll call making sure everyone was here and who to mark absent Luz sees the same girl enter the class they make eye contact blush slightly and look away hunter and the girl's sister and friend noticing
"Now's not the time Skittles" he whispers to Luz knowing the looks she gave amity to which she looked back at him "hey- it's not that---" hunter rolls his eyes "sure you're not checking her out" The teacher had finished roll call and announced there will be a group project and she will be choosing partners which made everyone groan in annoyance Luz and Hunter look at each other concerned on how to actually interact with other people besides the two of them "now's our chance to figure out who is who" Luz whispers nervously hunter nodded but seemingly just as tense as Luz appears to be
