Chapter 6

so he really brought him here to have I'm sign the red pony over to him? This ridiculous thing, this man is ridiculous so know i not only have myself tied to chair in a barn out in the middle of no where but also my boss the man that pays me for working i have him in this situation, 

"Hey Walt?"

"Hmm?"

"I'm uh i—I'm sorry i got you into this I'm so stupid I'm sorry I shouldn't  have called you i should of kept my nose out of shit-"

"Hey Luna its okay you were worried about him and I'm his best friend i was worried bout him too, so i get it"

"Henry I—" 

"Don't Luna please don't" that kinda hurt me it really did but I understand why he told me to stop and not help but i just couldn't I couldn't stay to myself I couldn't listen when i should have Henry won't even look at me i finally got tired of waiting and just went to sleep fuck it, if they gonna kill me at least i wont see it.  

I i was being awoken to someone grabbing me "huh what's going on"  I looked up to see Walt grabbing me, they are letting us go i looked over and seen Henry standing there looking at me there was sadness and then also there was also nothing in his eyes,  that's never a good sign,

We all walked out the barn and the only cars left are Henry's and Walt's i started to walk to Walt's truck when henry called out

"Luna ill take you to get your Jeep,"  i just shook my head and walked over to him, and hopped in his truck we sat in silence the whole ride to the red pony, when we pulled up i went to open the door and he started to talk 

"Look luna i- I don't need your help, I don't want to see you get hurt i care so much about you but tonight seeing you in that position it hurt me and I can't see you go through that ever again, anyone that gets near winds up hurt it never fails, I'm sorry i just don't want to get you hurt so I'm saying goodbye lune I really love you but I can't get you hurt or worse killed "

I just sat there not knowing what to say i mean honestly I didn't expect that from him, "okay i will send your stuff with mom"
I didn't look up at him or say anything els I just couldn't i was hurt i grabbed my keys and got out he grabbed my hand but I snatched it away and got into my Jeep, and drove off i drove in silence and once i pulled into my drive way i sat there and finally walked in I went and gathered up his stuff and sat it on the kitchen table

I grabbed the case of beer and went and sat out back and started a fire I never ended up drinking any of the beers starring at the fire and i finally let the tears come down, i hurt so bad I just wanted to help him that's all i wanted, i grabbed my phone, and dialed Vic's number it was late but i really needed someone to talk too, she picked up on the third ring

"Hey Luna everything okay? It's 6 in the morning"

"Hey uh damn I'm sorry I didn't realize it was so early i never mind I'm sorry i woke you ill talk to you later at work" i went to go hang up but i heard Vic talking

"No you didn't wake me i was actually getting dressed, but hey are you okay?" And with that i started

"Yea-" and before I could finish I started crying

" I'm so sorry Vic i just needed someone to talk too, I've gotta send his stuff with my mom this morning"

"Luna..... wha... I'm sorry hunny what happened?"   I ended up telling her everything and i mean everything.

"So yeah that's why I'm sending his shit with my mom."

"Well luna I'm so sorry that happened that's a shitty way and reason you saved him he should of hugged you"

"Yeah well he didn't but I'm sorry i kept you this long but i will see you at work"

"Luna you can't be serious coming in with no sleep"

"I'm fine won't be the first time' with that we got off the phone and then i went and got ready and we ended up leaving, "mom please give this to Henry". "Okay hunny"

I dropped her off and headed to work i stopped and grabbed me a energy drink, this is gonna be a one day, i pull up to the office jamming music and i see Vics car sitting there oh man this might be awkward i was so honest with her and she is best friends with Walt and Walt is best friends with Henry... i finally grab the courage to get out and walk in while downing my energy drink.

"Hey Luna" ferg said to me

"Hey ferg hows the lady?"

"She's good were good" i jut smiled and sat down while talking to Vic about today and everything and then Walt came in
"Luna can i see you in my office please"

"Uh yeah" Vic gave me a look and I gave her a i don't know look" i followed in behind him and took a set, i sat there in silence

" i just wanted to make sure you are okay especially after last night.. you also look like you didn't get no sleep either wanna tell m what that's about...."

"Look Walt I don't wanna say anything because your his friend so everything's fine i just couldn't sleep after all the traumatic shit happened and after what he said but i have tomorrow off so ill make sure to get some sleep then i promise,"

"Luna you can be honest with me your my employee i need to make sure you're okay"

"Thank you Walt but I am okay I'll be find you don't have to worry about me"  with that i got up and walked back out and with that i carried on with my day,we got a couple of small calls noting mager and finally my day has come to an end and i can go pic my mom up and go home i pull up to the red pony an i see Henry's and Malachi cars here great I give. My mom a call an wait for her to come out i see her walking out an Henry walks her out laughing and smiling it put a little. Happiness in my heart but I didn't let it show he looked no at me and dropped his smile and waved at me i jut looked at him

Mom hopped into the car and we left

"Hey honey how has your day been any exciting today?

"No mom noting exciting today just a slow simple day, how about your?"

"Oh it was okay just your occasional loud person and then i met the new owner it so sad that Henry is giving it to someone els. He said he knows you that all of you are friends."

"Mom please do not get close to Malachi he's a very dangerous man and if anything ever so slightly feels off or happens you call mr frst okay?"

"Okay sweetie you have me worried"  once we pulled up to the house I made dinner while she was in the shower and once we sat down to eat i explained everything to her that i knew about him and then explained me and Henry after that she just kept quiet and helped me clean the kitchen I went and took a shower and layed in bed I'm so exhausted that I didn't even get a chance to pick up my phone that was ringing.
