Needles Are Weapons Too

The screaming was starting to get unbearable. It was so high pitched and never ending. I could feel my ear drums about to give out.

Behind me I hear Maddy, "Hey, shut the fuck up. You're hurting mine and everyone else's ears." But of course she didn't stop screaming. I couldn't tell how old she was. She looked as old as us. Maybe even a bit older, like 17. I could tell her voice was starting to give out. Her screaming sounding as if she has been for over an hour.

I heard Elric giggle beside me as a ripping sound was heard. I look over and Elric has ripped open the teenager's left forearm with her knife. I held my stitching needle over the wound Elric had just made to stitch it back up. I kept holding it there. This was so disturbing. All this girl did was call Maddy a bitch. Jeez, just say "not as much as you are one", and walk off. To the ice cream store. Get a raspberry ice cream.. Maybe put some M&-

"BUNNY." I jump almost stabbing the girl with the needle. "What?!" By now this girl is whimpering which is almost as annoying as the screaming. "You've been sitting there for like, two minutes getting lost in your galaxy mind! You're supposed to stitch that cut and her mouth," Maddy told me.

Well darn. Now my stomach is twisting in ways unknown to man kind by how nervous I am and how sickening the scene is. I start stitching up the wound, putting the needle deep into the skin. I stitch tight and loose enough for her to keep bleeding. "Don't close the wound, let her bleed out," Maddy had told me. As I stitch, she screeches and yells to stop. Honestly I want to. Or at least finish stitching the wound tight enough so it heals, then get out of here.

I finish stitching then move up to her mouth. The girl keeps moving her head away from me, making it difficult to start. Maddy groans and takes out a ribbon. She walks over and bends over the girl and wraps a ribbon around her head to keep her mouth from moving up and down. Then she toes two ribbons on each side and ties both ends tightly to the tree. I start to stitch at her mouth and get about halfway. "Shit," Maddy says.

From the corner of my eye I can see blue and red flashing lights from outside the woods. I yank the needle to get the thread off of it right before Maddy grabs my arm and starts running with Elric. We just leave the girl there for police to find, apparently. The woods are huge and going from the left side of the forest of Bristlewood to the middle, is still a long way.

We can hear the sirens wail fading away as we get closer to the house. My legs are about to give out and I start to decide to meet up with them until I realize we're only a few feet away. Once Maddy opens the door and we all walk inside, I instantly collapse on the floor. "Welcome to your new life", Maddy says, bending over me and grinning.
