While you could recognize Taylor in an instant, she fails to recognize you.Taylor's fame wasn't why you could recognize her so quick, it was the fact that you grew up together, knowing each other since you were little kids.
However, Taylor seemed to have forgotten about you even after all the hard times she bestowed upon you nearly every day. Growing up together with Taylor would sound nice to the average, but nice was far from the truth. Taylor was basically your bully for as long as you could remember, and made it her mission to make you miserable as much as possible every day without fail. Though she did a good job of it, you didn't give her the satisfaction just to avoid encouraging her to continue, but she continued anyway.
You were at an award show, not that you were about to receive an award of your own, but you were there to perform with your own band. You had been invited to do a mini concert at the start of the show, and that's when you spot Taylor for the first time in years. Taylor sees you for the first time in years without knowing that it was you she was looking at. As you steal quick glances her way during your performance, you remember those times she had you cornered at every chance she got and when it came to that, it was never physical but always verbal. Taylor would say the cruelest things to you and no one would listen when you would ask for help. You got very little advice from your dad as he coached you on what to say the next time something happens with Taylor, giving you a few ideas on what words to shoot back.
"You're dumb, or... I'm not gonna talk to you." he'd tell you.
You did follow through and used those words he gave you, and this was just in fourth grade.
Not a word of it worked in your favor. If anything, it made things worse as Taylor just laughed in your face. Words didn't phase her and it continued until her fame grew, that's when she started leaving you alone. You haven't seen or heard from her in years until now. What you were unaware of was of Taylor's beginning of growing obsessed with you, she just couldn't take her eyes away.

After a while of debating, you decided to stick around for the party that followed after the award show.
You were sitting alone with a glass of champagne in hand, drinking away while watching those that surround you. You were lost in it and it was enough to make you prevent from seeing Taylor making her approach. Taylor comes up and asks if she could sit next to you, and wanting to be polite, you agreed and invited her to take a seat.
That's when the talking started.
It was honestly and surprisingly a pleasant conversation and by the end of it, Taylor still didn't catch onto who you were, that she was once your tormented, but you decided to just let it left alone at that as her obsession over you grew almost to the maximum. After a conversation full of nothing but compliments, it was time to think about going home for it was getting late. You really enjoyed the time you got to spend in Taylor's company, it felt as if you were getting to know her all over again.
It surprisingly saddened you when it now really was time to go home but at least you wouldn't be going home empty handed, you walked out with Taylor's personal phone number.
Let's see where this goes.
So it goes...
