so, first of all, this is the problem most of you have. it's not a big deal, a lot of you do it, not just those who write. but, if you want to get more serious with your writing, or maybe impress some people, this is a big step.

right off the bat, i'll give you the secret; "you're" is two words squashed together. "you are". easy to remember?

"your" is possessive. it's used to show that something belongs to someone, or is related to that person. like how i talk about your writing.

an example of the differences would be: "you're going to see your cousin this weekend, right?"

it took me a while to get a lot of the differences of a lot of words memorized, so even if you don't remember them straight away, it's cool. nobody automatically knows the differences. in fact, i still make those mistakes when i'm not paying close attention. very embarrassing for me personally...

next will be we're/were/where. another thing people seem to struggle with.

until then, drink some water, take your meds, and don't worry about that writer's block. you'll get it. i prommy :3
